"Frizzles" aren't a breed of chicken, and this is clearly illustrated in the video by showing several different breeds that happen to have the frizzle mutation. The frizzle mutation in the result of a dominant gene-actually, a semi-LETHAL dominant gene-that is found in many breeds, including Seramas, Cochins, Polish, Silkies, etc., as well as countless crosses. Two frizzles should NEVER be bred together, because if a bird inherits a copy of the frizzled gene from each parent, it will be a "frazzle". "Frazzles have very brittle, sparse feathers, that are prone to growing inward under the skin, causing sores and infections, and often have other health issues, too.
