its not like tarkov is a fully polished, non buggy, low cheater full release game. its a crazy broken game thats had some of the most awful bugs and playing conditions of like any game. Dont punish us unnecessarily for no reason. Bsg is unbelievably lucky that we still play this shit

as somebody who has been a patron, player, and even fan of the game for over 7 years i can tell you that being nice to these guys makes no difference from being rude. they do not listen to you, they do not update the game for you, they do not care
they step up to the keyboard simply whenever they feel, and that alone is the most insulting thing you can do to a dedicated community. especially when you have a $140 option for a game that rarely has compelling content updates and still has yet to reach an actual playable state (do not tell me these servers make a playable video game).
it’s understandable that a small team of larpers have a tough time making a good video game, but it is not forgiven. you cannot generate millions, refuse to hire a team and still play pity party “oh no oh weary me, i can’t pay a team because i want to keep importing american cars instead of attempting to work on a game that could generate millions more in turnnnn”. just as bad as CDPR and dice.

The moment I wanted to get into Lighthouse and try for the 10th time to do some water treatment quests, and saw that I would have to pay 200k just to get in, I disconnected and installed warzone 2.0...a thing which I've said that I will never do. But seeing that they added some kind of ranked system I said wat the hell, I'll give it a try...maybe I'll get back to tarkov today. Absolutely hated this event

just all depends on what they class as unfair, if its just random timed events and is "unfair" to people who cant play everyday then thats fine. You cant please everyone but if its unfair in regards to events only available to certain player level or trader level etc then i dont agree with it. just my 2 cents.

I think like others said it was them testing things for the future, but as you mentioned it would have been nice to see it happen a little longer so everyone could experience it.

I swear to bsg "unfair" and "punishing" just means "yeah we want to make a game no one wants to play, that's the point bro."

BSG drops the ball soooo hard when it comes to events all the time... at best they get a third or half of the event requirements or rewards right.

alot of people at the moment arent playing EFT and dont care about the event that just finished. hell i have stopped playing due to all the crap that has popped up in game . i only do single player for now and dont have to worry about cheaters

how can you want a game released but all the maps aren't out lol i get it though but needs a lot of work still unless they are making it look like that ... still the only shooter i really like but really hate and honestly i cant play any others i try but its just not tarkov you know ....

Personally i liked the event it was Crazy the scavs had great loot and there were some good loot !

Unfair doesn't constitute a lack of communication. This event was just them trying to do a money sync. I'm tired of them trying to get rid of roubles millionaires cause it only screws the people that can't make millions. Literally just forget about that "issue" bsg. It's the least important issue on their plate.

It’s my first wipe and the only bosses I have been able to handle are Tagilla and Reshala (if he’s in dorms). Really tough go of it this weekend

Not many people are playing anyways. not a big hit tbh

the website that showed the kills was a countdown though, telling us when the big thing was gonna happen like fence said in the video with the bosses

BSG - Can we get smoking animations in game?

bro noone is calling u bad things ur a great man and we rly appreciate what you do for the community, the event was weird yes, first part of the event wasnt fun at all but the boss spawn was rly fun and lots of pvp around the maps.

So how long is early access befor its justthe game? 3 years? 4 maybe 6? Theres gotta be a limit. All developers release their game as early access now as an excuse to release unfinished work

Wants it to be unfair, aka America can get over it. Yet he would sink without United States sales. Just tells you alot about him.

I didn't play this event, but I'm all for events that are dynamic, unscheduled, unfair and unannounced. Having these reasonably frequently is something that keeps the game fresh. What I don't like - and have come to expect from the history of BSG's events - is their anti-climactic conclusions. Something needs to happen. In lore, in the maps (blocked off roads/buildings until a future event), with the vendors (no 7.62 ammo left on the vendors for a period) - SOMETHING.

Now it may be (probably is) that they are testing out the new tech for event types here and all this is planned to have more meaning, depth and interactivity once the tools are in place and the game releases. But running a Beta as if it is a live service does raise the customer base expectations as to what is intended gameplay and what is being run as a alpha test for new tech, and I think BSG would benefit from being more forthcoming about this.

Imagine eft without all the bs. Any game with unfair advantages is a bad game and will just leave players feeling frustrated on top of everything else wrong with this "game". I will def play arena but for me my eft ventures are over.

There is a major difference between unfair, and unfun. This was unfun.

Honestly, I feel that the boss spawn thing was part of the end of the Fence event that occurred. I do vaguely recall something about "meeting the bosses" from the video. Maybe it was just a brief weekend event. I do hope for two things from this:
1. They improve the realistic interactions with the bosses (i.e. I went to the electrical tower on the hill where Reshala and his goons went wayyyy out of the way I have ever seen them go to get my ass. Idk if this is new or anecdotal.)
2. They add some way to taunt/summon bosses. Imagine if there were either fixed or random guaranteed spawning point on boss maps where you can call them in and force a spawn mid-raid. Or an item you bring with you that consumes on raid-entry, but improves the chances of a boss spawning like in Dead By Daylight where you can equip items that improve spawn chances in various scenarios.

The only Tarkov video without a Dislike is the one on how to unistall.. change my mind.

I can't speak to the commentary of others and why they say what they say. I personally like your content and research you do into the game we all love and hate. I do wanna say that I made a comment about you borderline huffing copium a while back, because, well, the speculations you were making were... borderline huffing copium.
I can't however say that that is the case with all of your content, it was only the case with that one video. Not this one either.

Pretty sure they weren't thinking of current players at all when they made those decisions, it was more like "we want to test xyz" and then either they got enough data or something went wrong and that was it... I kinda get it, but they should at least communicate something, tell us why and what's happening or why and what just happened at least.

the only viable way i have to kill bosses and exfel, is to run thermal at night so i can't have any opinion about it

Weekend events!!!

Like give us a event every 72 h and a countdown to it. I could have played, if I knew it was online. but like. always event and it's fine, if it's a 3h event every other week then they might aswell not have the event!

the biggest kick in the dick about this event was the fact we spent all day grinding the other maps to not reap the rewards
