ОтветитьThis was helpful what I heard was MKV has better quality and audio but may not be compatible with everything and MP4 is universally compatible and easy for streaming
ОтветитьThanks for video
Ответитьmkv for me is better even edit video longplays where to cut withoud reencoded and don't have problems with b-frames or similar, just cut and join.
Ответитьsimple and straight forwad, love it
ОтветитьExactly what I needed to know. Thank you!
Ответитьmp4 does support multiple audio tracks
ОтветитьThe ability to turn on or off subtitles way outweighs the additional space for me.

ОтветитьThank you for this!
ОтветитьSad, my Sansui f51 video player is being selective when it comes to mkv files. It's a hit and miss when I download movies.
Ответитьwhat about recording the file in mkv then render it to mp4? would be better than recording in mp4? or no difference?
ОтветитьMkv is great
ОтветитьGood information. I have all of my movie files converted to MKV and use VLC to play all audio and video files. It's easy to turn on (or off) subtitles or to change the audio streams. If I need to add a subtitle to a file or convert a video file to MKV, I use the MKV ToolNix programme.
ОтветитьThank you for this. My OBS format is Mkv, but I remux them on OBS so I can edit the videos on Premier Pro because they don’t accept Mkv as a compatible format yet.
