the switch 2 is way over late , the switch was a 10 year old tegra tablet with a controller attached. i am amazed how much it did with its old hardware. I'm not a Nintendo fan so I'm not going to ever buy one , but for the fans its a big upgrade

I don't think switch 2 will ever overtake PS2 let alone the DS. PS2s greatness was that it was an amazing DVD player as well. DS was an amazing handheld and something completely new to market. I don't care what the casual tourists say about how Nintendo has nostalgia and shit, they have been a predatory company ever since the switch 1 launched and have been making some of the worst decisions to harm the industry and their fans. Moreover microsoft and Sony have been moving to encroach on Nintendos speciality market, like platformers and party games. Astrobot's success has given Sony an amazing mascot and if they are smart about it they have potential to make it bigger than anything

I'll be very honest, I stopped watching your videos as frequently mostly due to how the Switch 2 coverage has been going. I like to see people inject their opinions no matter their stance, but I have a hard time watching videos that consistently talk about the price, specifically of the console, pro controller and most of the first party games (there are outliers for Switch 2 editions that make no sense). The price of the console with the dock has been proven to be worth the price tag, from the price of the consoles' parts to performance capabilities for the price point that most people have deemed it to be worth it, while the minority does not believe it to be so. Theres definitely things about Nintendo to not like, but I think the collective beating the drum mentality to knock Nintendo at nearly every turn is very silly to me.

My opinion of the switch 2 is the it's today's GameCube, because it's going to sell more than the Wii u's 13 million in the closer to GameCube 33 million.

Why I think this.
One, the cost of the console is too high what will reduce the total copies sold versus multiple as they did with the switch one.
Two, despite having third party support all ports will be inferior to the other systems and the few ports that run great are going to be a decade old games, that gamers are done with.
Three, with Xbox officially joining the handheld market later this year, there is stiff competition for handheld systems.

Why would i care about switch 2 success i won't get paid

Be aware that slower game cards means that prices to release physical versions of games are made to focus on bigger margins and reduce costs, which on a 80€ game looks very wrong for the consumer... 2 seconds may not mean much, but once you compare it with a friend that has faster loading times... it will look bad. Thankfully, for Nintendo, most people don't question/care about that. They just buy their games and they know that.

Also, Bethesda is really giving it all to screw consumers in this new DOOM. After the "Screw you, Europe! USA will get DOOM cheaper and you will pay more!!", we now have the really good "Physical you say? Nah, but you will still pay premium for it."

Definitely wonder how well it will do. I feel like they have done so much to De-Incentivize people to buy multiple switches. For example it was far more tempting to buy more than one switch when you could effortless start a game from any switch owned before they added the digital game cart "feature". Then there are the more harsh choices they have made that have made people want to avoid buying their products all together.

I’m kinda conflicted about getting a switch 2. I want to get it just so I can mod it in the future and be in the modding scene and I don’t wanna get stuck in a high firmware. But I don’t wanna add to their numbers. I don’t want Mario kart. I can live without it. But there are games I want in the future

Switch 2 = wii u. It has all the same marketing issues, naming convention too similar to previous generation, and it's core audience has room temperature IQ. A combo that leads to poor sales.
