ОтветитьHi expert ...can anyone help me with the error I am getting ..."Expression.Error: The name 'Excel.workbook' wasn't recognized. Make sure it's spelled correctly." while adding a column
ОтветитьHi! Suppose you have 6 source files in different folders. Is there a way to either 1) multi-select the files to be ingested via PowerPivot, or 2) create a linked, live duplicate version of the source file in a report folder so that the folder ingest via PowerPivot can be used?
ОтветитьYESSS! Thank you. I had to combine 220 excel spreadsheets into one big spreadsheet in order to do my analysis. You just saved me a ton of copy/save hours! Exactly as you described in your message - we have a daily process and we save each day’s file into one folder on a shared drive. Each file contains a monetary amount that we send in a letter to our customers and we needed to know the total amount since Jan 1. Thank you! Thank you!
ОтветитьPls help me combining multiple workbooks with multiple worksheets(or multiple tabs) and put in another workbook

ОтветитьGreat video Doug! I have a question please. I want to combine files. Can I combine Xlsb files? If not, what other Excel files can I combine? CSV is too big and I am looking for an alternative to Xlsx, since I am trying to combine with the least workbook size as possible. Your feedback will really make a difference
Ответитьthank you. going to try using this on my daily reports over the month of January
ОтветитьGreat video! I have multiple files on SharePoint in different locations (not in one folder) and I would like to bring them into one. Data is in tables already. I also don't want all the columns to be imported into the master consolidated one. How do I do this in Power Query? Please help! Thanks
ОтветитьCould this be used to combine several pivot tables?
ОтветитьVery nice! Would it also be possible to combine files in one sheet side-by-side
ОтветитьThank you! Nice! Can you tell me how do I do custom formatting in Power Query? For example, I have one column where I need around 15 numbers but it removes initial zeros. I know how to do it in excel but when I use power query it removes all preceding zeros. Please advise? Thanks
ОтветитьThank you for the tutorial, Doug. Question for you: Can I bring in only one of the many tabs within the files? Like I have 200 of the exact same format / columns files and they all have the same tabs. I only want to bring over Tab A from each 200 files into one file. Many thanks for your help!
