As a Liverpool fan, I'd say selling Palmer to Chelsea was a disastrous move by City.

Pep has never been one of the great managers . He over compicates the game trying to be too clever at times which is the reason they have only won one champions league . Defensively his teams have always been suspect . He doesn't have a great history of beinging through young players . He made a huge blunder with palmer and at the moment ir looks like he is destroying the career of mcatee who is potentially one of the best no 10's in world football .

Foden should be one of the best players in the world football . Pep has stiflied his game completely by shifting him on the wing . Fodens problem is he now over thinks the game because pep has over coached . If he went to Liverpool Slot would turn him in one of the players in the world .

Why are people suprised at pep having a bad spot. Happened at Bayern Munich as well didn't it? Has an aging team recruits poorly, does bad moves to another team full of World class players. Cycle repeats. Makes 1 or 2 high profile signings. But for the most part sticks to the squad he inherits.

I may be wrong but didn't that start to happen at Bayern before he moved?

Not to say he's not a good manager he's very good. But I would say his recruitment and judgement of player potential is not the best. Evident in letting go of some talents. And keeping knot so good talents.

This is an outside shout, but it's purely based on how CONSISTENT they've been for England and the mental strength they've demonstrated after some tough times... Bukayo Saka. He plays every game, he can drag the team out of a fire, and has proved so many bigots wrong after a penalty miss against Italy (blown out of proportion by the media and racist supporters as usual... even Baggio and Messi have missed penalties in finals).

Once Kane has a few league titles with Bayern under his belt... it's no contest. Any random bugger can fluke a single Premier League title. Look at United players like Chadwick, Obertan, Kleberson... flukes happen.
Vardy obviously deserved it with Leicester, but he's also been relegated and will end up going down again.
