I just bought a 26X2.4 for my cannondale F7, I bought it from a guy who got it from an auction. ( kept for records just in case ) the tires that were on it I want to saw were WAYYYY too thin, 26X possibly 1.5/1.65/1.75, I couldn’t tell cause the tires were old and I couldn’t read the side wall. ( definitely dry rotted and every touch kept rubbing off the tire to ground as dust/debre.
I have not received my maxxis 26X2.4 yet but I’m hoping it’s got a real trail look to it, cause those tires it had looked like an embarrassment 😏🤷🏻🤣

which tire would be best for my roscoe 7 do mainly packed dirt or road riding over steep trails. looking to downsize from 2.8 to a 2.4. 27.5-2.4

Great explanation, I just blew my stock tire or my Roscoe, put a dhr on rear, honestly can’t believe the difference I feel. Also running higher pressure, but definitely faster yet stable on corners. I’m not a small guy either so control helps!

Hi Whats the best combo for 130 mm travel hardtail. Riding in uk on sandy rooty terrain manly. Combo of wet and dry . I currently run wtb trail boss 2.25 front and rear but need new tyre s so thinking of something different. Don't want something that's to heavy or draggy. Been looking at dhr 2 in 2.3 for front and minion ss 2.3 rear. Do you think this is a good choice. How would this compare to current set up . Running 29er with stans flow 29mm width rims.
