It takes some serious “stones” and misrepresentation to compare THE WHEEL, a fundamental, easily understood and adopted technology that made life SIMPLER, to an inefficient, fabricated and concocted “Rube Goldberg” financial instrument that only serves to do the opposite. Come on folks: didn’t the “bundled” sub-prime mortgages, “derivatives” and other packaged scams from 2008 not scare you enough?
ОтветитьNow change the wheel (a invention that makes sense) with crypto (a invention that does nothing usefull)
ОтветитьFad, Ponzi schemes.... hahahaha that's Brilliant masterfully crafted from beginning to end.
ОтветитьBest commercial out there by FAR. Saw it on tv, came here to watch it again. Good job Wealthsimple.
Ответитьchange is bad alright, you guys went from an actual banking app, to cryptobros. also cryptocurrency destroys the environment.
ОтветитьThis is so funny… and dangerous and irresponsible. But I’m still glad we live in a free enough society that it’s allowed to be played and I’m allowed to say it’s ****ed up!
ОтветитьFantastic ad, well done Wealthsimple. I don't use you for crypto, I do for Trade and Invest' much respect for how to do the latter two. And I love how you plug Crypto.
ОтветитьWho is the actor that narrates at the end? I let sounds like such a distinct voice
ОтветитьOmg so fucking fire
ОтветитьIt's a absolutely pathetic to compare useless block chain and the negative sum game crypto currencies to the invention of the wheel.
It's embarrassing for Wealthsimple to try to profit from this Greater fool get rich quick scam.
Sorry Dougie !!!
ОтветитьAged like fine milk
ОтветитьHAHAHAHA AGED LIKE MILK GET BENT
ОтветитьTHE AD IS AMAZING
ОтветитьSong?
ОтветитьSince the wheel is not a ponzi scheme, crypto is definitely not! Just ask LUNA!
ОтветитьGreat timing, lol
ОтветитьHow incredibly scammy of you, Wealthsimple.
Ответитьwell this didn't age well, get fucked
ОтветитьYeah, this isn't aging well.
ОтветитьThe first wheel was made In Mesopotamia 4000 years ago and they were already a stabil civilisation it was made of wood for chariots and everybody embraced it
ОтветитьThis feels like actual propaganda :p
ОтветитьCrypto is more like when cave people for some unknown reasons put little holed in there own skulls
Ответитьis this tenerife??
Ответить“The world of finance hails the invention of the wheel over and over again, often in a slightly more unstable version.”
-John Kenneth Galbraith
This commercial didn't age quite so well.
Ответитьthis will age poorly
Ответитьthe punchline is that they unironically advocate crypto
ОтветитьI'm no physicist but isn't it idiotic to make wheels out of rocks because they are heavy? Isn't that why they were always made of wood?
Ответитьawesome 👏 I ❤it
ОтветитьMy name is SBF and I endorse this message.
ОтветитьTurns out it WAS a ponzi scheme. Pathetic that companies sold this crap to people with ads.
ОтветитьWheel wasn’t even invented in paleolithic era 💀
ОтветитьThis aged poorly
Ответить“Ponzi scheme. Fad.” Prophetic!
ОтветитьThis commercial has aged like fine wine. It turns out cryptocurrencies, which seemed dumb to the casual observer, were in fact dumb. This was by design; their obvious flaws presented a litmus test for sifting out anyone not credulous enough to believe that unregulated blockchain technology could be at all trusted.
Sometimes the truth's right in front of your, if you're ready for it.
So cringe, pulled most of my money from Welathsimple after I saw it
ОтветитьThis was awesome
ОтветитьI remember watching this ad over and over again and thinking "what an arrogant, asinine way to sell an obvious scam". Now I actlvely search for this ad for all the feelings of schadenfreude it provides me. I would like to offer a belated "thank you" to whoever made this ad for the (very much unintentional) comedy it gave us *chef's kiss*.
ОтветитьI still love this commercial. Considering BTC is up about 70% from a year ago, I wonder if people that laughed back in 2022 will change their minds. They are the detractors laughing in the ad at others learning to use the wheel. The next bull run has already started.
ОтветитьBrilliant

ОтветитьBitcoin maxis spread the misleading information that there are 4700x more XRP than Bitcoin. While this is true (100B vs 21M), they forget to mention that there are 100 million satoshis per bitcoin and only 1 million drops per XRP. If you calculate the total units, you get 2.1 quadrillion satoshis vs 100 quadrillion drops, which adjusts the real ratio to ~47.62 drops per satoshis and NOT 4762X.
Now if you divide bitcoin’s top of $69k by the real ratio of 47.62, you get a potential XRP price of ~$1448. Bitcoin has NO utility.
$1449 is with the whole 100Billion XRP in circulation. With only 53B circulating supply then : 69000/(53Q/2.1Q)= $2,734 XRP
And before anybody says anything about the impossible market cap, explain to me how Ethereum reached $5000 with an infinite supply.
XRP’s price is CRIMINALLY SURPRESSED!
As for the MARKET CAP… If 9 out of 10 asset (10 being the total supply) are sold @ $10, the market cap of the asset is $100.
After hearing (insert great news here), suddenly the whole world wants said asset, ask prices rise quickly to $1000.
One asset is sold at $1000. The market cap is now $10 000, even though only $1090 has been pumped in the asset.
THE MARKET CAP IS INSIGNIFICANT! It’s just a multiplication of the CURRENT price of the asset multiplied by the circulating supply.

ОтветитьThanks for the analysis! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (behave today finger ski upon boy assault summer exhaust beauty stereo over). How can I transfer them to Binance?
ОтветитьHow true and yet we choose to ignore and undermine it 😐 Early adopters win the race with patience
ОтветитьAdd is dead on😂❤
