"Need"...? You mean "want". Nobody "needs" wireless headphones. They are optional according to one's desires. All smartphones continue the ability to drive wired headphones if required.
That extra couple of inches of dongle wont kill anyone!

I do believe that the sony WH 1000XM2 is the superior ANC headset. I had the Bose QC35 II for a week, I decided to return it for the 1000XM2, oh boy the sound and features can't be compared to the QC35 II. Probably

This might have been valid a month ago, but the Mobius supersedes all other wireless headphones.

Yeah sony is the best choice

1- jabra very tight on the ears
2- Bose the previous one I have still my go to not worth the upgrade
3- plantronic never heard of it
4- shure budget scare me
5- sony didn't like the look but nice functionality

Why would you want the wh 1000 x m2s from Sony when they're going to release the new ones in a month?

I have both Bose QC 35 II and the Sony MDR1000X M2 and I must say the bose are the most comfortable pair of cans ever, but everything else the Sonys are way better in every category in my humble opinion not trying to argue just stating my opinion love them both

To me the V Moda Crossfade 2 are better than all of these.

Rofl bose best noise cancelling. God you must be high since the the Sony m2s not only have better interface and audio quality but the anc beats out bose anyday.

If you want cheaper noise cancelling wireless headphones I recommend the tap Tronics bh22 from amazon they are so light and the padding is extremely soft and comfortable also the headphones fold up snug in a hard carry case!

I have the Sony headphones and I think they sound..... alright. I've had a number of issues with them. The frame tends to creak from small movements and sometimes I can hear noise generated from the noise canceling feature. I actually had them replaced and merely got a pair with the same issue, but it's diminished.

There's also quite a bit of sibilance on sh and ch sounds. I have to drop the treble depending on the recording. There still better than most headphones I've ever owned but not great by any means.

I think the sony's (what i have) have superior noise cancelling to the bose.
I spent about 4 hours in best buy comparing the two and decided on sony's.

Wrong, the crown goes the Beyerdynamic Amiron Wireless, better overall and the best sound from wireless headphones

i've used the Jabra elite and i must confess, it is worse possible headphones out there. very stiff and the vocals are not clear. the bluetooth connection gets off frantically. The charging pod is also not so great. overall experience is bad.

i subscribed initially and then un subscribed from the channel. very poorly made video. Sony already released a new version of 1000X. no update on that. The first headphone is a complete waste of money. The samsung Icon X is way better and also the Bose truly wireless headphones are just as good.

Bose are way better on wireless around ear . sound is flat without that stupid lows and bright highs. Also build quality is way better than sony and Sennheiser. I like all of them but for different reason Sony has futuristic technology and. Sennheiser has the best open back wired headphones.

I going big time with Sony in this case , Sony is high clear crisp and base, Bose sound artificial sound like mono , I say NO bose they are both very high price, is you want a high super sound but cheaper , tried the monster for 49.99 they sound awesome compare with sony bose or other rip you pocked...Monster NTune On-Ear Headphones
