There will never be another genre like 80s rock. My brother took me to see my first concert in 1988 to see motley Crue on the girls girls girls tour in Roanoke Virginia. I was only 15 years old at the time. What an experience that was. Whitesnake is still one of my all-time favorites

Sure ,there ok i guess , far from amazing... in kmow way in any category with Judas Priest . Who are also a christian band, but then so is Black Sabath or any band that believes in Jesus.

I saw STRYPER quite a few years back at the inside out soul festival.
I didnt know any of the bands there, but I knew STRYPER! Lol!
I remember the video for " Free" from when I was a little kid.
I have seen a lot of the duo guitar greats, Hanneman- King, Tipton- Downing, Hetfield- Hammett, and I can say that Oz Fox and Michael Sweet absolutely hold thier own in a live show.
I was 2 feet from the stage ankle deep in hay at the bottom of a ski hill equiped with a tow rope.
It was RAD.
Well over a decade ago and I recall it with fondness.

The most recent time I saw Stryper was in Dallas with my 3 kids!! Even in the 80s I knew they were good but it now helps when others validate their talent - even Lady Gaga. I also appreciate that they’ve never mellowed on their message. As a recent pipe smoker thank you for your Stryper rant!! 😊
