Starting Conforto shows that management is still stuck in the mud. Releasing Taylor and Barnes was two years overdue. Now, they stubbornly cling to a FA bust who does little to nothing for a team and removes its best defensive corner OF and a top four power bat. I definitely noticed a lack of strike 1 with this staff. It's something I quietly grumble to myself about when watching...

Over the years, seeing pitcher throw for a chase is the most disappointing thing in baseball. Throw strikes, control the zone, mix your pitches, keep 'em guessing. To my mind, that is pitching. Depending on big League hitters to chase isn't.

One of the trends this season is that the Dodgers starters (except Yamamoto) rarely throw a competitive pitch when they have an 0-2 count.

Betts's throwing accuracy has been inconsistent, and Muncy has struggled both offensively and defensively. Conforto.....nothing to say. sigh....
