Haptic Architecture

The creaking sound of a well worn wooden floorboard .. in movies etc, always transport me in miliseconds to that of my grandma house ,fond childhood memories..

I love how the thumbnail for her videos almost always is a snapshot of her most silly face of the clip. As shes enunciating so well, she tends to make exaggerated facial movements, and they take the most exaggerated, or sometimes, most silly looking on and make that the thumbnail for the clip 😂😂😂

It made me realize even more, how much there are ways to see/conveive the world and analyse them; much like how in Literature, Literary Theories and Criticisms are like lenses through which you can see the world (or art of anynkind) in different ways and analyze them.

Awesome video. What a movie. Since seeing Inception, I've literally dreamt (lucidly) about creating architectural structures (mostly in a green sort of meadow) with my mind, and a group of other people. They were large, semi-ornate houses. I can still vividly see them in my mind's eye/memory. If Haptic architecture involves the 5 senses, how might sacred architecture, ancient or otherwise, which pays homage to or refers to things beyond the 5 senses, be classified by architects? Whether or not one believes in the existence of things beyond the 5 senses, many people have for millennia, and created masterpieces of architecture referring to or dedicated to such "unseen" things.

This is why i watch your channel.

I had never heard the term Haptic Architecture before but I love it! They use this same concept in Revolutionary Girl Utena (both movie and anime) and it gives you such a surreal, uneasy feeling that is hard to put words to as a result.

Couldn't haptic architecture also use non organic design to differetiate things?

What happened to old, beautiful, cathedral like architecture? Everything seems so cold, drab, dystopian, and dark now, literally all of it. It’s rare to see some architecture with Warmth in todays time.. would be a cool video to explain why this is , and why we have migrated from warm , beautiful , inviting architecture, to cold and drab, “lifeless” in many ways. Thankyou.

Nearly all of my dreams are third person. So when I do have a first person dream, it can take hours or even days to realize none of it ever happened (especially since they are super mundane ones)

Not enough architecture takes into account the haptic effects of sound making spaces that are gorgeous to look at holes of badly reflected noise

The scary thing about dream sharing technology, as portrayed in the movie, is that the only way to know that you have left the dream world is through a totem. The totem is an object that is personal to the individual because only they know what it is and its properties and characteristics are like. So if you don't have a Totem or someone knows what your Totem is, he can actually trap you in the dream world because you wouldn't have no way of knowing whether you are still dreaming or awake.

I don't need lucid dreaming. I have severe ADHD.

So, if different kinds of scent was given to you while you sleep, that would also affect your dreaming. Maybe even taste as well, but seems difficult to give someone sleeping something to taste.

I actually experienced this last night with me literally going to the mall(I dunno why) meeting my friends and just hugging them, even old ones I haven't seen in YEARS

I've only ever had one dream I remember where there was a sense of physical touch with my hands (it was a shag carpet as well). Never smell or taste either. But imagery and sound are vivid.

Dreams are absolutely one of the most fascinating and bizarre things in existence. I like to think it as ''when your dreams become interractive,'' and whilst it's not the most accurate analogy, I think it still makes sense. You see things from your brain instead of your eyes, that's why everything is so unnatural and impossible, as your eyes see facts and your brain makes up its own facts, which are in most cases as far from the truth as can be.

I just realized that i don't have any memory of smelling anything in my dreams. Im not normally eating or drinking anything in my dreams, either. It's normally just feeling and seeing.

Astrol, low mid. High tou are in a dream from 5D down to 3D, your sense is better because of your turama, pain, stretching the sense due to pain that gives meaning that gives reallty, 😂
