Bull was born in Zurich in 1996, when Ross Powers had just won the first FIS World Championship in the half pipe.
As the oldest of 5 siblings, I first had to fight my way onto the board. My parents first put me on skis - in the Swiss manner. When I was 6 years old I prevailed and since then the board has been an integral part of my life. Not only the snowboard, but also the skateboard and a few years later the surfboard aroused my great passion.
Because I tried every "obstacle", I got a taste of the Freestyle Academy in Laax at the age of 9 ... and there I got stuck. Every weekend in winter I "shredded" with kids rails and kickers of the same age and made the slopes unsafe ;-). I still spend a lot of time on the mountain with these locals.
A few years later, we took part in the first competitions, first in the region, but soon nationally or even internationally. Unexpectedly I was able to take part in the Youth Olympics in 2012 and to my astonishment I was 5th in the halfpipe and even 3rd in slopestyle.
In autumn 2012 my wish to live in the mountains and to stand on the board every day was fulfilled: I entered the Davos sports school. At the same time, I was accepted into the Swiss Snowboard Pro Team. This gave me the best training basis for starting a professional career from my great passion. In addition to the Swiss snowboard team with the excellent coaches, especially my schoolmates, with whom we constantly pushed each other to new tricks, helped me.
All of this bore fruit and so in 2014, as a 17-year-old, I was able to earn an Olympic diploma at the Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia with 5th place and climb the podium at the Burton US Open in Vail, Colorado. I suddenly had to end this top season with a cruciate ligament rupture after landing on the table in Andorra.
That showed me that health is the greatest good for further success. After 8 months of rehabilitation, I regained my old form and managed to place in the top 10 in the 2015/16 season in the international ranking.
I want to stay there! The air up there is thin and the higher you jump, the deeper you can fall, but I trust that the board will carry me for a long time
