I am convinced by Stephen Wolfram's model because it fits in so well and explains the anomalies I always had problems with. The difference between space and time, the stochastic nature of changes in space and time, the absence of a need for coordination or 'design' in the universe.

Another fantastically informative interview with S.R.
However the idea of coding contracts into a computing language, which will remove readability and understanding from the vast majority of both people and lawyers, seems to be a dangerous move (or have I misunderstood what was being said?)
