This song holds such painful memories for me. Losing a girl who i loved dearly. Who was such a great person. We drifted apart over time. I look back and wish I would have made a better effort to get in touch with her again. I had so many things to say to her. Wanted her to know she was always a huge part of my life. Sadly she passed away. Out of nowhere. This song just rips me apart.

Reminds me of the time I saw a girl jump off a bridge in my hometown when I was 17. A cold winter night in December just before the holidays. She hit the water and started to scream for help. I am a strong swimmer, but I know that river. In that freezing water I couldn't jump in or we both would have been gone. Hit the papers the next morning when I went to school. Rest in peace uknown woman who thought she had no other option.
