NuPhy FIELD75 Review - EVERYTHING you need to know!

I heard it only has magnetic switches, and thats a deal breaker😮‍💨

I received this keyboard today, but not on while connecting my Laptop..what is latest software available for download and where I need to download. Kindly help on this

This keyboard is such a piece of shit. Buggy firmware WILL fuck up. USB C connector is faulty (poor power connection on TWO different Field75s). Garbage. Stay away. There are PLENTY of other good keyboards out there. Also, their customer service is shitty and slow.

Has anyone figured out how to take a Field 75 apart yet? nothing under the caps, nothing under the feet, i don't wanna start jamming stuff up in it to try and find release points for the case

as for the not being able to customize the side button and volume wheel, on my $250 (at the time I bought it) Logitech G915, I can't do it either, and frankly, G Hub is a pretty lousy software suite, which is one reason I'm getting a new keyboard. (also, I have the full size G915, and built new PC, so I want a non-black kb, but also, playing flight sims where I have HOTAS on desk, a smaller profile or TKL keyboard would work better (looked at getting a full size for daily use, like I use numpad for work all time, and TKL for gaming or even mini & numpad combo, but I'm thinking This with a numpad would work (even saw one that has OLED screen that functions as old school calculator woudl would be handy for work... ) but again, thanks for review.

So, not 100% important, but would be nice: I just build new PC on White case, and would be getting White keyboard (or at least I'd like metal (aluminum?) with white keycaps). HOw does the color of this keyboard fit? if anyone who has this can answer would be appreciated. I may still get a cream or white keyboard since its not important, but I am looking at other keyboards like Steelseries Apex 5 or 7 (7 wireless?) with white Prismcaps perhaps and a Snow or "Ghost" Aerox 3 mouse. This keyboard with something like the LOFREE Touch PBT WIrelss mouse though, would work. Just curious if anoyone has those, how is the color? WHat color did you get?

Hi TechBroll, can I ask a question, what is the time transitioning from one device to another device on bluetooth? Is it quick or take a delay?

I have one of these, and it's an otherwise fine keyboard, with the downside that the USB C port... if you look at the cable the keyboard will turn off. The socket is typical of Nuphy: Really slack quality control. The pre-lubed switches are often only partly lubed and some of them will squeak. The board is not compatible with VIA or QMK, and Nuphy barely got their 0.1 software out the door after a delay of only a month or two, and they never actually update. so whatever functionality you get after they patch the inevitable bugs and virus warnings... that's the features your keyboard will have until you have to trash it because it fell apart and was EOL. There's also no keyboard layer to the customisation: It's just a single layer with no FN+ or shirft/ctrl for the macro keys.
And if you live in an ISO layout country, Nuphy do not include any key caps for that. Like 4 cat themed keys and a hanful of test switches, sure, but yeah, no £ or € keys.

why on earth would you want rgb without shine through caps? a backlight's purpose is to allow you to identify keys in the dark. makes no sense

What I don't get about NuPhy models is why the bottom row keys have sharp lower edge like the regular keys. It should be rounded, otherwise you can't really use your thumb to press them. This was the reason I had to file the lower edge on my first PC AT keyboard back in the previous century, and I was under the impression this kind of issue would not occur in the modern timeline.

Great review on this board! Question: when you customize the lighting/macros/etc with the Nuphy software, does it have to stay running in the background, or can you save configuration profiles to the board directly and use them without the software running in the background?

The thing I don't understand is why it's not all their space bars that are ghost bars. I think the blue space bar looks way better, but it sucks that it sounds worse than the white one..
