I have been using Kaspersky Cloud security free version, and by far the best AV on the internet right now. It has excellent real time protection and doesn't hog down on system resources at all. It also blocks malicious websites and scans every file before downloading them.

Total AV has recently been found to be a scam. when oyu buy it you agree to an auto renew option that automatically draws the reneall fee out of your account an the fee goes up ever year!

f the 3 choices reviewed i'd say Bitdefender is the better option. Norton is getting like McAfee they dig in. would not be surprised if users will eventually need a norton removal tool to get it out of their pc's.

I have Norton paid version, it's a pain. Adds of their own tools , have to pay, like drivers update. Asking make a backup every five minutes. Wasn't like that last year. May buy Bit defender once period is over

Bit Defender shut off all my volume on one of my pc's. It was playing yesterday. I turned on today and nothing. Looked quite extensively to find the problem. I uninstalled Bitdefender and my volume was back.
