ОтветитьGreat pie 🥧 😋
ОтветитьLove your concoction.
ОтветитьMmmm..that pie...❤❤❤❤❤😊
Ответитьpies go great with custard too and so simple, loved the video sean
ОтветитьIt's your pie, Sean! You prepare it how you want to. If someone from the town council comes by, peel the apples!❤😂🌴🇦🇮
ОтветитьActually the fall leaves here in Canada are indeed just as beautiful in reality as they are in pics
ОтветитьEnjoyed the vlog
ОтветитьTalking of the great winter clean up what are your thoughts on the Purdey and Figg products? Would you recommend? Love those Christmas decorations, I've just ordered the same ones.
ОтветитьAll lillies are highly toxic to cats! Hope the bulb is going somewhere well out of the way of Topsey & Amber.
Might be worth doing some pickled eggs, if you have a 2l jar. (& like them).
Did you know? you can make apple cider vinegar from the cores & any skins you peel.
Watching you make your apple & blackberry pie, got me thinking about the last pies I made, with Rhubarb that had been used to make Rhubarb gin. There was enough for 2 pies. The first we had hot with custard & very nice to. The second we had the next day cold with ice-cream, oh my, good job we weren't driving we were both sozzled! Then we remembered the rhubarb had been infusing the gin !
Waitrose ! that's posh 🙂
ОтветитьTreat your amaryllis as a houseplant in the spring, put it outside in summer. Let it rest in a dark, dry place in the autumn, and start watering it when you are wanting it to bloom. I have had one for about 10 years, it blooms every year, and has gotten about as big as a large grapefruit. It even has made "babies" that I have gifted to family members. I repot it every 2 or 3 years. Feed it monthly until October.
ОтветитьFlour on the rolling pin x
ОтветитьPlease close your fridge 😊
ОтветитьYou can freeze steamed mushrooms
ОтветитьBest place to store mushrooms is wrapped I some kitchen roll and then placed into a paper bag in a cool place or fridge on one of the shelves ( not in the bottom salad drawer ,) keep the paper bag rolled down slightly or left open to let air to circulate. Stored this way they can last up to 2 weeks. Also if your not going to use the ready made pastry in the next few days you can freeze it and take it out of the freezer the night before you need to use it. Oh by the way I peel my apples first before cooking them. 👍🐈⬛🐈⬛💐
ОтветитьCanadian here…. (Southern British Columbia). Our autumn colours are indeed vibrant and beautiful on our trees!❤ Our forests and creeks, rivers, streams and lakes are the most scenic and clean in the world!🇨🇦🇨🇦❤️
ОтветитьA pinch of sugar and sprinkle of cinnamon on top of crust makes it look and taste decadent 😻
ОтветитьYou look like you’ve lost weight. NAFL can cause the liver and spleen to become enlarged. Weight loss can help with that. Good going !
ОтветитьMy daughter and I made two pies on Sunday. We made two so nobody would be disappointed when I dropped one on the floor.... which I did...she patted my head and told me not to be sad.
ОтветитьYou can buy a rolled up sheet of pastry in the chilled area. It's in a box and it just unrolls
ОтветитьOh Sean shut the dam fridge door that light going on & off was driving me nuts.!!!!!
ОтветитьGreat video ❤
ОтветитьTake off the peel!!!!
ОтветитьHi Sean, love the new table cloth, I have 1 very similar have it years, just a word of warning, wash it on it's own , quick wash low temp just in case it runs, mine does ♥
ОтветитьWow they must like you, that’s an expensive piece of kit!
ОтветитьI just wanted to rush in and make the pie for you but it gave me a laugh. Heather
Ответитьlovely video
ОтветитьI'm going to send you some kefir grains for you to make your own milk kefir. You can also make water kefir but it needs different grains.
ОтветитьThe salmon you are buying must be farmed to be organic. I only buy wild salmon in Canada.
ОтветитьWell done Sean, your pie looked very tasty. Love your new tablecloth.
ОтветитьHi sean, we put christmas tree and decorations up on the 1th November so we can enjoy christmas period longer. love your new table cloth.
ОтветитьMan yours crack up. Made me laugh with that pie.
ОтветитьWonderful Christmas decorations - I’m going to see if I can find them in Australia.
I put my Christmas tree up a month before Christmas🎄🌟
And I love your new pantry storage under the stairs, great idea.
Don’t know if you are aware that amaryllis are very toxic to cats. Make sure they don’t have a nibble of the leaves as it can make them sick
ОтветитьBravo!Doing a great job in the kitchen!❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьHi! I used to use an apple corer to cut pork pies, my husband always wondered how I cut a perfect centre circle.
ОтветитьIf you lightly flour the surface of the board, the pastry won't stick to it when rolling it out. Hope this helps.
ОтветитьGreat pie Sean, looks very tasty . .Loved the power pack too, what a useful thing that will be for you . .
ОтветитьWe’ve had a lovely couple of weeks of warm weather and sunshine too where we live in Wales. That’s why the trees have beautiful autumnal colours.
ОтветитьYes. A big wollies on Princess St Sells everything!
ОтветитьThe trees are much better in real life than in pictures. We had a great year of colours. Much better than last year. From Southern Ontario.
ОтветитьYes, definitely flour the board and rolling pin, and using a flat metal rimmed cookie sheet with a piece of parchment paper on top, place the puff pastry on it with the apples on top; sprinkle cinnamon on the apples and roll the edges so the filling doesn't leak out; then you'll have a galette-type of pie (and rolling the blackberries in a scant bit of cornstarch will thicken them up a wee bit. If you put a pastry lid on top, brush some egg/milk on top so it will turn golden brown. And don't forget to put 3 or 4 knife slits so that the steam can escape. Greetings from Toronto! I enjoyed watching your vlog. Kep up the good work! Cheers!
ОтветитьWatching this with my cup of tea and my cats surrounding me… starting to feel like a female clone of you @Sean 🤣🤣
ОтветитьWoolworth in Australia is a supermarket, nothing like woolworths here in UK
ОтветитьLeek prominently displayed.👍🏻😊
ОтветитьI couldn’t cope with that tiny fridge 😂
ОтветитьI have an angle grinder Sean and am only around the corner if you need to borrow one. Great video as always.
ОтветитьO M G . Bless your heart. You make me laugh.
