Hey i know the video is pretty old but i encountered a small problem: The flags seemingly do not get transfered. I mean i have the file name and everything correct but they do not appear to be used in game? They are also seemingly a lot smaller than the other original sizes

In my mod, the colors of all the countries only changed so it didn't work.

i can't find the common folder for hoi4 i don't have a steam folder, or steam apps folder, in my files, i don't see it

For some reason, my game refuses to create the country where I put it, but it opens :(

i was able to do it but my flag, leader and color wont show the state i chose has no color and no leader etc

The tag for my nation exists, and it even has the custom flag I placed for it, but it's not owning the desired state from the beginning of the game, and for some reason the leader portrait is blank. The political compass is also blank. 🤷

Good tutorial series and in the past I managed to add new countries now I tried to make a playable Faroe Islands but something does not worked. Either the characters are the issue or the units because obviously they do not have own units I made units, added special units and designs to them but the whole Islands are not playable when I start the game. I have no idea what is wrong but I assume because the game is differ from the 4 years agoe state the thing did not works out.

What I can thinking about it is either the characters or the country tags not works well because now it exists a countries 01_countries file and I added there too my country and the 00_countries where I added my country in the line of 275 but below there are other countries which came with the recent addons and expansions.

I would like a refreshed or modern version of these tutorials because some changes happend and probably something does not works out. The only thing worked for me is the existing formable countries but a country from scratch is not works.

for some reason it made all of the nations different colours then usual and I couldn't even make my nation :|
