In his early days over a hundred mph!!!
ОтветитьHis curveball was deadly
ОтветитьWhen i played ball back in highschool we had the guy at the batting cages put the speed around 91/92 mph. That speed was difficult enough, I can't even imagine facing a 100+mph pitch.
ОтветитьGo Astros 🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьHe pitched complete games and was throwing smoke in the 9th.
ОтветитьBest pitcher ever. Think of how many no-hitters he'd have today. At least 2 a season. I mean, he is over 70.
ОтветитьHow fast? He was clocked with the Angels at 100 mph. However MLB later changed where they measure how fast a pitch is with a radar at 15 feet from the pitcher's mound. This being the case, since Ryan's was calculated much closer to the plate, they recalculated for distance and velocity/speed lost over time. They calculated Nolan Ryan's pitch that day at 108 mph. Three mph faster than Chapman's pitch at 105. Nolan Ryan to this day still has the fastest fastball ever recorded to be thrown for a strike.
ОтветитьNobody is close to his strikeout record
ОтветитьOne of the best pitchers ever
ОтветитьTheirs so many different pitches. The ones that move are curves, sliders, cut fast balls etc etc. Ryan's top fast pitches were over 100 mph
ОтветитьNolan threw so fast it was surreal.🔥
ОтветитьNolan Ryan is the first pitcher with a fastball over 100 mph
Ответитьsupposedly that's 108mph fast ball, they did calculations a little while back to get the correct speed because they used to measure it differently
ОтветитьRyan threw the fastest pitch ever recorded. Through scientific research they deduced that the pitches he was clocked on were 108 - 111 mph.
ОтветитьCan’t take the stupidity
ОтветитьDid she just blow by 7 no hitters
ОтветитьThey didn’t have accurate ways to show how hard he could throw, but when they clocked him at 100.8, they figured out if it was clocked today it would have been 109.2 mph, and it was his 152nd pitch on his last pitch of the game.
ОтветитьStrike zones over the plate between your knees and waist high, basically
ОтветитьHe’s got 7 no no’s and over 5,000 strike outs that’s all you need to know and withcorrective distance he probably threw 108 mph
ОтветитьIf you think he pitches fast, peep Randy Johnson. "The Unit". The only man to kill a flying bird with a fastball during a game.
Ответитьhis 7 no hitters will never bee broken....no one is even close to that record.
Ответитьnames of pitches are, fast ball, curveball, knuckleball, slider, change-up, offspeed, cutter, sinker, screw ball, knuckle-curve.
Ответитьthe strike zone is from your knees to your chest and the 2 edges of the home plate
Ответитьnolan holds the record for fastest recorded pitch in mlb at 108 mph, 7 no-hitters is the record, and over 5700 strikeouts is the record
Ответитьgood choice, Nolan is the best pitcher ever. might I suggest you react to ivan " pudge" rodriguez? he is the best defensive catcher ever, and very well above hitter. his arm was so strong, nobody dared to try and steal a base against him, and those who did try, were utterly embarrased
ОтветитьBut when it comes to pitchers you need people talking about them and his fastest pitch was estimated to be 108 you need to watch the fastball documentary on amazon
ОтветитьSandy Koufax
ОтветитьHighlights aren’t enough you need to hear LEGENDARY hitters talk about him Reggie Jackson once said Ryan is the only guy who ever put fear in me or about how Ryan talked about when he came up 0 2 you threw inside and was aggressive
Ответить5 thousand strikeouts........a thousand more then the number 2 in strikeouts and no one will ever reach that number again
ОтветитьThe best power pitcher of all time. He had the misfortune of playing for bad teams or his win-loss record would have been better. When he was on, the hitters didn't have a chance and he knew it! In his 40's Nolan was still dominant throwing 2 no hitters. In his career he threw 19 1 hitters.
Ответитьoh hell yes!!!
ОтветитьIs a different type of fastball
ОтветитьFunny story: Steak-n-Shake's Prime burger meat is supplied by "Nolan Ryan Meats"
True story from some underpaid grillman at a Steak-n-Shake.
110 mph.... His fastest pitch ever recorded... He called it the " Nolan Ryan Express"
ОтветитьThe Strike Zone is usually measure from the knee of a hitter to his waist where the belt was wearing and the width of the zone is usually measure by the catcher's two knees...this of course is according to the empire's eyes who stands behind the catcher.
ОтветитьHis fastest pitch was 108.5 mph.
ОтветитьCheck out an MLB fight video. You’ll get to see Nolan beat the shit out of a guy who charged him
Ответитьthe strike zone is the width of the plate and from the batter's knees to their chest, so each batter's box is different and even though nolan ryan pitched before the introduction of the radar gun for pitch speed, it is estimated that he could throw his world famous fastball up to a blistering 108 mph
ОтветитьThis is the first time Nolan Ryan was pitching on my big screen and I couldn't see the ball, Not because the speed but because the distraction on the left... Damn damn damn you are absolutely gorgeous
ОтветитьI think ryans fastest pitch was over 108 mph
ОтветитьReact to Aaron Rodgers highlights
Ответитьalso jackie robinson
ОтветитьREACT TO BARTOLO COLON HIGHLIGHTS!!!!
ОтветитьREACT TO BARTOLO COLON HIGHLIGHTS!!!!
ОтветитьREACT TO BARTOLO COLON HIGHLIGHTS!!!!
ОтветитьNolan Ryan is the greatest pitcher in baseball history
Ответитьhe threw 108mph, fastest there's ever been, and he threw entire games, 7 no-hitters, was a total beast, will never see guys do what he did again, heck the mlb won't even allow it anymore, great documentary..I forget the name though, talks about all the great pitchers
ОтветитьHis name is still so prominent that I really thought he was still playing when I was a bit older in the late 90s.... wow.
ОтветитьReact to Gronk 😉
