Yet the BBC were more than happy to allow Radio 1 to play "Ding-dong the witch is dead" when Margaret Thatcher died. In fact, through heavy BBC Radio 1 promotion of the 'song', it reached number 1 on the top 40. It was not banned, or cancelled by the BBC. So why should a song about Starmer get the BBC hard left treatment? The BBC are two-tier as well now????

My parents only get the state pension, live in social housing and struggle to buy basic goods. They've also never had a car, a holiday abroad and wearing faded clothes that are years old. Somehow they don't qualify for winter fuel allowance as my dad receives a small amount of disability allowance for his ill health taking them £1 over the qualifying amount. Any extra money from disability goes towards helping my dad's ill health. Not one person has ever described my parents as wealthy. The words I've heard more often are poor and disadvantaged. My parents are wearing coats indoors.
I help how I can but don't have much money myself.

I would love the BBC commentator to meet my parents and learn.
