Anime Makeup Brands Accuse Each Other Of Copying...

Originality of ideas is limited. Everything is bound to be reinvented, and that is perfectly fine. Accusing other INDIE brands of stealing basic stuff though is just stupid.
And even IF the others "stole" an idea, design or whatever, unless it would be a straight up 1to1 copy, everyone is well within their artistic rights to do stuff inspired from one another. Big brands are also not complaining, that others may have similar ideas, deisgns, whaever. That is how a competitive market just works. If your product is good, consumers will notice and buy your stuff.
Also anime gaming themes are still quite restrictive in some places. How designs can be produced is limited. Products the indie creator can affort are limited.
This does really not shed a good light on her.

I just hate how everyone today is just so on edge. Everything can offend, everything is stealing when an idea is vaguely similar, everything has to be original. Social Media is really poisoning minds

Yva, I am going to hold your hand when I say this. Just because someone is selling the same product doesn't mean it is copying. People can have similar ideas in different places. (Also, neko's makeup seems to be better quality and more intricate.)

Nekoyanin isn't a copier girl. She's open about the brand on her channel and js because the ideas are similar doesn't mean it's copying. Like the 'magical guardian pallete". The pink-ish purple one is based on 'guardian angels' or something (based on by the name) and the nekoyanin pallete is based on princes and princesses. It js doesn't make sense. And about the cat palletes, both brands is anime based so obvi some people can have the same idea. There weren't even any similarities in them. So the person blaming nekoyanin is either stupid or just jealous.

I also noticed that with all the other ones except for the Magical Girl vs Diamond of All Seasons palettes, Yva showed the outer packaging. She showed her own outer packaging for this comparison but not Nekoyanin's. Likely because if she showed the outer one for Nekoyanin's it would be obvious how different they are.

I also think that with Nekoyanin, she's not saying she own the concepts. She never accuses others of copying her. She's just saying "look, I did this before you", not to say that Yva copied her, but just to say she didn't copy Yva. Just to say she was doing that before and thus it's not possible for it to have been copying, not to say that Yva is the one copying.

I honestly don’t even think neko was accusing yva of actually stealing her content style, she obviously doesn’t actually care about that sort of thing. I’d say she only brought it up because yva seemed to think it mattered so much. She was saying “you’re calling me a thief because i just did something after you?? Here’s a bunch of stuff you did after me.”

Nekoyanin is transparent about her business and just seems like a genuinely stand up person. I love her brand, her products, and her ideas! The anime trope only has so many tropes so it's pretty easy to make products with similar themes. Also, the Diamond of All Seasons palette feels completely different from the Yva glitter palette, and it's a totally different theme (Nekoyanin said she was inspired by Bridgerton for that palette.) Also nekoyanin would obviously release a cat palette, her brand is literally "neko" lol

Who's gonna tell her if those glitter palettes are copied a lot of people are "copying" her. No honestly you need to have a lot of self-confidence to think that any glitter palette that is similar is a copy
