I didn't really like the opening but the second part of it made it a little better. But I enjoyed the first episode.

The entire plot of this anime is about a journey where the mc and his group trying to get his missing balls because it is magical for some reason and every beings from yokai, kaiju to aliens want to have it to use the energy inside it. The cat haven't show up in the anime yet but is a part of the main cast

Let's just say
Creepy Nuts nailed the Japanese mystic and UFOs (or UAP lol) and also the insanity and heartwrenching backstories of this series
The song is crafted specifically for this anime, that for sure

Did you see those golden balls in the opening and ending? In Japanese, golden ball is said "Kintama" but that word can also mean "testicle" so yeah, every time you see a golden ball in the opening and ending is a reference to human testicles.
