YOU SHOULD COVER THE UNUSED CONCEPTS IN SPIDER-MAN PS4/PS5 THAT GAME HAS A TON OF UNUSED CONCEPTS

I remember watching Cut Short's video on this game a while back and was so heartbroken when I learned everything about the game and how you would play as a detective with very unique tech and gears. That steampunk look oddly fits perfect for Batman imo.

I always thought they could make some amazing Elseworlds Batman games, this being one of them. Imagine a Bloodborne-like game set in a Victorian era Gotham where Batman has to fight monsters like vampires, werewolves, undead, witches, Lovecraftian beings etc. and you get to upgrade him and maybe give him supernatural abilities such as becoming a vampire like in Skyrim.

Or a noir game set in the 1940s where you have very limited equipment and have to rely on your detective skills.

Imagine meeting someone in real life who talks like this casually lol

I’d love a Gotham By Gaslight game. A Victorian Gotham detective story, hunting another hunter, a sick twisted predator called Jack.
I wouldn’t want it to be a shooter, but I still think it would make a great game.

I actually do see some influences on the batman suit having a cape collar from both gotham by gaslight and white knight respectively man

I would love a modern day Gotham By Gaslight game that followed the comics strictly. But maybe instead of realistic graphics, we could have animated graphics- like as if your playing the actual comic book.
Basically a mix of Batman and Assassin's Creed Unity/Syndicate but animated and non lethal.

It’s a strange choice to pick Gotham by Gaslight as the inspiration. And it’s even weirder that it was a Batman “shooter”, probably a cover shooter at that.

I've always loved the look of this prototype. The atmosphere is just perfect, and the cape physics are glorious, even for today's standards. I wish someone took this project again, though with a more traditional approach to combat. It's not impossible to make a Batman game being sort of a shooter. The Genesis game was sort of like that, even though it also had brawling, but I prefer a focus on sneaking and melee.

VERY mindblown at that controller screen and Batman's weapon wheel UI. Where did you find these? Also, according to the senior technical artist who worked on this game who I reached out to, he is the one who made this prototype public 12 years ago but also admitted that after the game was cancelled all known assets and work in progress builds were destroyed. This game is now sadly permanently lost.
