Love the song and love that beautiful Rover 200 series. It’s a shame it wasn’t sold in America, even though it was designed with Honda. That 200 series is a sweet looking car!

One of the best Rover adverts I've ever seen. My country and my age barely has any link with those, but after I found out what this car and company was, it began more and more memorable at every moment when I watched this. Thanks for such a precious sharing ;)

I would like to think that the car won her over. But it was probably more to do with the fact that he was a property mogul, but very frugal, hence the Rover, and had just been diagnosed with terminal cancer. But she stood to gain everything once he died, but only if she married him.

Could you imagine that being commissioned now---but weirdly it's like some sort of guilty pleasure----😅 if I'd travelled over the Yorkshire moors in pursuit of the woman of my dreams I suspect a bit of lift off oversteer might have got in the way 😅.

Me and my Wife were married at South Shields townhall in 1998 It's a beautiful place.
