I tried this but didnt have my original codkey saved....how do i get it back? I downloaded off of steam and dont feel like reinstalling. When I go back to regedit, and go to the cod4 folder, It just says default and doesnt show any of the folders like players and codkey and such. help!

On 64bit computers, go to hkey_local_machine > software > wow6432node all of your x86 program files should be in there. I had the same problem. Thumbs this up if you dont mind so others can see
