I just finished all 30 episodes. I have not read the book or seen the Netflix version that others keep reminding in their comments. So, with my knowledge limited to what this series provided I have to say that it was absolute perfection. A joy to watch. And I would have never thought that the slow mo of a ship passing through a channel would bring me to the edge of my seat, as it happened in episode 29. Cudos to all those working hard to deliver this wonderful piece of entertainment, that is also so much thoght provoking.

I started off not liking Da Shi because he didn't look like Benedict Wong but he is such a tremendous character and actor. Final scene gave me goosebumps.
