Photography Meet-up Highlighting Black Artists Recap

On July 19th, 2020 RAWDetroit, a creative nonprofit organization from Detroit, MI hosted a photography meetup in Eastern Market. This meetup focused on promoting and sharing murals done by Black artists from Detroit.

For about 3 hours creatives from Detroit came out to take pictures of artwork and portraits of models all around Eastern Market in Detroit.

RAWDetroit is a creative arts non-profit organization based in the thriving city of Detroit, Michigan. Through the power of photography, we educate, inspire, and empower artists about the importance of capturing images of our everyday lives.

Since 2016 RAWDetroit has been hosting events for photographers and creatives alike to come together and network, create and learn about photography and art as a whole.
