Unfortunately advertising “features” that are not available at launch seems to be the new norm. Apple (the lawyers) will probably figure some shady way out of it. Or just throw some money at it for a “settlement” which would most likely be a fraction of the cost from the revenue generated with the 16 series.

Also I checked out the 16e in the store today, for a basic phone it’s not bad. I’d be ok with it if I didn’t need a larger screen for my crappy eyesight. I’ve been checking out the iPad mini to use along side my iPhone now.

As an iPhone 16 Pro Max user, I'd say Apple Intelligence should just be an opt-in feature, if nobody wants it they can easily uninstall, then Apple can take their sweet time rebuilding it. Much better than false advertising and under-delivering a product so much inferior and incomplete compare to the competitions

I hope iPhone gets sued for billions and they have to pay up. This is the only way to get companies to actually do what they say they're going to do and stop making false promises to the consumers.

It's called a finesse. Apple has been finessing it's base for years with bare minimum upgrades to the software beneath a hardware that's 98% the same as the year before. 😂

This is the reason I bought the iPhone 16 Pro Max was for Apple Intelligence. And I can say that I’m quite disappointed and if a class action is started I’ll be getting in on it asap. I have all of my receipts too!

I am really glad Apple is actually getting sued for this because this went beyond marketing, even normal marketing that sometimes is reaching a little bit. The biggest problem is not just the commercials themselves, it was the whole forced in peoples faces with changing design layouts of buildings and huge banners. Apple really needed to be sued on this.

I only got the 16 Pro Max because it was time for an upgrade from my 12 Pro Max and I didn’t feel like waiting for the 17 but don’t promote a product that don’t have the features or items you was promoting at false advertisement Apple did it themselves

8GB of RAM , personally tested with Ai feature OFF and no apps running, shows the RAM js being used for over 98%of all time and this is why their screen js unresponsive and laggy all the time… there your answer

I mean I came across this video because im considering suing...I paid $1500 for a phone with a screen that doesn't respond to touch most of the time. What if I had an emergency and needed to access my phone but cant because the touchscreen doesn't work. Im very very upset.

I have a iphone 15 pro. ONLY for getting ai. They had on their website it would be available later last year. But now its delayed! So when it comes there will be a newer phone maybe two new. I wanna sue apple! And have my money back. What a scam! Ai is not at all in europe

Apple harmed themselves. I am one of those who bought 16 pro max for AI features mainly. A life Apple user. Now I am so upset and switching to S25 ultra which is far ahead of Apple and not only for AI!

Apple makes announcements about all these great features. So they can sell more iPhone 16 after people are bought the phone thinking they’d have all these great things happening with the phone. They’ve sold over 1,000,060 iPhone 16 right so they made money but basically you could say that they lied. They lied to people to get them to buy the phone. I hope the people win that class action suit I hope to be on there because I just bought an iPhone 16 about a month ago and right now intelligence stuff on here. It’s no different than the phone I had before there’s nothing changed. It’s the same phone same shape same phone same same nothing And shame on Apple for doing this. They need to refund everybody who bought an iPhone 1616 Pro Pro Max all these people need to be refunded their money with this phone because you know they need to. They absolutely don’t need to because that’s false advertising and it’s wrong And they knew it.

I had a perfectly good iPhone 13 that I ditched for a 16 just for ai and my 13 still ran fantastic it’s definitely a bummer I’m definitely getting rid of it and getting a pixel 9 or s25

It’s not just the “Apple intelligence” hoax, it’s a huge slap in the face to all the diehard, loyal Apple consumers (such as myself) who’ve spent most of their lives believing in the Apple marketing and advertising campaigns. The slap in the face is the release of the iPhone 16e(xclusively for moronic customers who will buy anything, even if it’s complete dog sh%t 💩)
I’ve owned every single iPhone in every single color (excluding the base iPhone14 and 14 plus and would rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty nail) and I’ve been paying for AppleCare+ subscriptions for every iPhone since the beginning of the service without so much as getting a tiny scratch on the device. I was told by two dozen different Apple customer service agents to make a five hour round trip to the nearest Apple Store and they set up a “genius bar” appointment, just to be ignored by the “genius” who was supposed to be taking care of my claims and was talking to another employee about the previous customer in very derogatory and demoralizing manner, then when he finally made the time to ask what I needed, as if he couldn’t just look at the iPad directly in front of him, and he just said, “nah, it’s not worth the hassle” I reminded him that he claim had already been setup by the Apple representative, he just repeated the same thing, only shorter and asked me if that was all?

I still have two damaged devices that I am barely able to use and I have never in my life seen Apple turn into such a pos corporation like everyone else now.
This is not a simple miscalculation on Apples part, every thing that they are trying to do is very much intentional. You’re going to make a still newer iPhone from just the year prior obsolete feeling in terms of OS compatibility? They’re getting greedy and all of the innovators have either passed away or have left the company, and I don’t blame them. I believe they are aware that they don’t have many more years left and wanted to rack up as much profit as possible beforehand.
I’m livid!!

As an attorney what advice would you give to those with S24 series that still don’t have latest Android or One UI. “7 years of full software support” ended up as straight up lie.
