Longtime (45 years) Houstonian here. We're a fun town.
ОтветитьWhen I was in the Houston Police academy, the instructors gleefully showed us the crime scene photos of the victims right before lunch. Their were hunks of body parts wrapped up in their fridge. For lunch, I had a pimiento sandwich, which resembled the body. The sandwich didn't quite taste so good that day.
ОтветитьFirst video of yours for me
Really well done video, and great narration.
Doesn't matter how interesting it is if I can't stand to listen to it.
All this happened before modern phorensics really came into play.
ОтветитьPlease don't do anything like this again???? 😭
ОтветитьI liked your closing words to this one.
ОтветитьDefinitely was working for the CIA. Counterintelligence
ОтветитьI grew in Houston in the sunset heights area, later moved to moved the Montrose area with my girlfriend just a few blocks from their home.
ОтветитьI have seen a few videos about the icebox murders but this was by far the most in depth and educational video . This channel is f ing phenomenal, thank you Andrew and team.
ОтветитьThe fact that the father was emasculated, his eyes gouged out, and disemboweled is indicative of extreme interpersonal rage. I would suspect the father had been far more abusive than anyone truly knows.
ОтветитьPerfect length video and narration , hold this sub bro
ОтветитьThe JFK conspiracy is a mess. The man on the grassy knoll is made up. Woody Harrelsons dad was a hitman for the Mob, went to Prison for killing a federal judge. He was one of the three tramps. He says if you believe one man carried that out alone you’re a fool
ОтветитьI’ve watched every story you have created and absolutely love them all. I live really close to where this crime happened. It’s always chilling when these stories are told and they are so close to home. You’ve covered a few really close to home crimes. Very intriguing and informative. Would have never known about these cases.
ОтветитьI'm not positive he committed the murders. With all of his connections SOMEONE could have carried it out and 'frightened' him into fleeing. Yes, he lived there, but is there concrete proof HE did it. I find a lot of assumptions going on.
ОтветитьAlways a good day when you drop a video
ОтветитьThe sound effects come across as moronic and even camp value in an otherwise top notch presentation.
ОтветитьI'm from Houston and I never knew this
ОтветитьThank you for this legendary Houston saga. Merry Christmas!🎄
ОтветитьThose building are still here. In downtown Houston on Main St. I recognize Main St. from that old photo. Crazy.
ОтветитьBIG REACH😂
ОтветитьI’m pretty sure my grandmother had that same fridge or one very similar. It was always rather empty when my dad would take me to visit her, but I remember that icebox better than my grandmother herself. Hard to imagine it filled with bagged meat.
ОтветитьNiçe episode.for sure he was already died by now
ОтветитьThis is hands down the best true crime mystery I've seen. I was captivated from start to finish. Here is why I like this channel: I can listen to your voice all day. Some of these channels have the most off-the-wall people narrating, people trying to be creepy, or people with annoying accents that I can't listen to for more than five minutes. And the story itself - this really should be made into a movie. Great work!
ОтветитьFun fact: Montrose is now the LGBTQ hub of Houston 😂
ОтветитьI'm from 79' in Houston and by the time this story hit my ears..it was changed to a guy who would go after kids and lock them in refrigerators. Needless to say it was an urban legend. It wasn't till I was about 14 when my buddy's uncle told us the real story.. but not quite as detailed. Definitely subscribing to this channel.
ОтветитьFinding this channel has changed my life. the sound of your voice is so calming and kind of sounds like Matthew mcconaughey. I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS
ОтветитьI watched Angry Boy. I liked it.
ОтветитьI was a benchwarmer for 'The_Big_Event' -E Howard Hunt's last testimonial (2007)
ОтветитьAs nobody had seen Charles while he lived with his parents, perhaps he was being kept captive and that was him in the freezer while his father made off into the unknown?
ОтветитьTo be honest sounds like to me he probably had a shady job maybe with the government where nobody knew what he was doing. Something went wrong and to stay ahead of the situation they killed his parents to frame him. This is the theory that makes sense to my brain!
ОтветитьI was shocked when they said they had found no evidence that he was a secret agent for the CIA! 😉🤷🏻😂
ОтветитьI bet the judge was just happy that someone took out the trash. A brilliant kid was abused and he got revenge when he was finally stronger than his abusers.
ОтветитьI was a little girl when this happened in Houston TX (71 now), the newspaper didn't reveal gory details but did mention whose head was in the refrigerator.
Their son was never found, the case unsolved.
😢
Late nite eating my dinner watching 3 day work week this week...this should be interesting....happy Holidays Andrew ❄️.. I got a ice box where my heart used to be lol
ОтветитьPlot Twist: He didn't kill his parents. Instead, he knew information and did jobs so top secret that the government had to deal with him and his family.
ОтветитьWow!! Why hadn’t I heard of this dude?!! That was as good as DB cooper’s story
Ответить❤ sm
ОтветитьAs soon as you said his spiral downward started in 1957 I smelled MKULTRA.
ОтветитьCharles looks a lot like Lee Harvey Oswald. I still say Oswald didn’t kill JFK. He was set up to take the fall and Ruby made sure he would never make it to court. It’s just my opinion.😊
ОтветитьThese days you can’t even trust the soccer mom or the suburban housewife!! Gated communities with million dollar homes have people living there that just might have their kids chained down in the basement. I read about a case of kids that were chained down in the basement and were not being fed. Their suburban mom was charged and convicted!! The neighbors were shocked as you can imagine.
ОтветитьA man that intelligent but with zero social skills, is no secret agent material. But we do know what happens when ppl are alone with only their own thoughs for too long. They will lose it. And with that comes severe paranoia, rage and often with high intelligens, narcisissm. He knew how to disappear, to him that was the easy part. And the murders, well one can only speculate about exactly what they did to him. But considering what he did to the fathers body, it's not hard to guess that he was molested by him as a child. I'm more suprised that he did'nt do it sooner.
ОтветитьWow. I was born and raised in Houston and I don't ever remember hearing about this
ОтветитьI live in Houston TX and yes this has always been a popular topic upon discussions here in Houston TX🤘🏻🔥 Thank you for covering this case!
ОтветитьAmazing story. Thanks for posting!
ОтветитьThank you Andrew🙏🏼💔🕊️🎄
