In the second half of the podcast, we pick up where we left off in the early 80s.

By this time, Goth has found a new home in London. We look closer at how the Batcave came in to being, and what role it played in Goth. Again, we focus on some key records and bands, and when the press finally caught wind of the 'new 'underground' scene. We also look at some key record labels, which were vital to Goth.

By the mid-80s, Goth was full blown. 'The Hunger' helped to take Goth to the silver screen and thus, world-wide. Goth nights were sprouting up at local clubs and Goth bands had records in all the shops.

Then it all goes horrible wrong. Hollywood gets involved, The Cure do a double album, The Batcave has to move and its new incarnation gets too snobby. Goth gets watered down and by the end of the 80's, The Fields Of The Nephilim appear and the press-have a heyday with their flour-dusted get-up. Goth takes its last breath, and as the 80s close, Goth dies.

But wait! One Goth band makes actually it to the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame! Check out our second half to hear the rest of the story of Goth, and find out which act makes in to the RRHOF.
