I had my discs and pads replaced on all 4 wheels and that was 4600

So take that as a win cause when the proper bills come in might need to take a chair so you can sit down before being told the bill!!

Another great video. Yes, it was expensive but it’s not like it would have been free if you took it somewhere else. You paid a premium for peace of mind, which I totally get. Plus, the car is your new baby so I also understand. Sometimes it’s ok if the heart over rules the head.

Totally agree , normal tyre fitters wil risk damage to your alloy either the outer edge or the air gun will scratch the surface where the bolts go in. Best to pay premium to protect the alloys with main dealer.

Hi there - I have the same model car (2019) - see avatar thumbnail. I’ve just been quoted £579.70 for TWO new Pirelli P Zeros (255/40R20 Fl PZER04G 101 Y XL A6A) specifically for the AML Vantage (look for A6A on the sidewall) from Stapletons Tyres. Additionally, if you’re a member of the Aston Martin Owners Club (AMOC), you’ll also be able to send off the receipt to Pirelli for a £60 cash back offer (£60 for 2 tyres; £120 for 4 tyres), but they will have to be fitted by a ‘Pirelli Performance Centre’ to qualify for the cash-back, making the cost for 2 front tyres £519.70 - approx £260 per tyre (fitted)! Stapletons are part of the PPC scheme, whilst most AML MDs are not. Hope this information is helpful, albeit late! Also, just in case you’re considering the extended Aston Warranty, one condition of the Warranty is that you have to have A6A ‘grade’ Pirelli P Zeros fitted to your car. If you have anything else fitted (eg Michelin PS4, Bridgestones, etc.), you could invalidate your warranty - also AML MDs are only allowed to sell used AMs with factory recommended tyres (A6A P Zeros for the AMG-era V8V), and will charge you if taking in a car (for part-ex) with anything else fitted! Strange but true - welcome to the wonderful world of AML!! I had my two rear tyres changed by Stapletons in January (following a similar puncture to yours), and they took extremely good care of my car (I oversaw the whole process) with no damage to rims/bolts and even tightened up to correct torque (70Nm (52 lb/ft) as per owners manual). They get inspected by Pirelli each year and lose their PPC status if they fail inspection…….

It was always going to be expensive, but, you had a great working environment and it was fitted that morning whereas online would've been a few days later. It's a case of whether those benefits (environment and your time) merited the higher cost to you! Thanks for being so open.

There again i can see where your coming from as if the wheel was damaged when having the tyres changed you’re in a strong position of getting it put right when dealing with the main agents. Aston tax. I used to run a Vantage as a daily for 3 years. Had an almost identical screw in my Range Rover front. Plugged it for £18, run the tyres down a bit them replaced both for £500 P Zeros

Blackcircle charge £266.53 for a brand new Pirelli P Zero FITTED!!! I sorry but you've just gave a demonstration of "How to get ripped off" or you're really really naive!

Why didn’t you take out the tyre insurance as well… £380 for 3 years …. I did no panic in these situation

A dealership for a tyre, 😂😂 There are plenty of proper tyre fitters that specialise in big expensive wheels, take pride in their work, and are fully insured.. Aston martin dont employ specialist tyre fitters, and you're just another aston to them.. and then there is the price, crazy.

Your tyres are pretty worn out. Do drive with extra caution or better still, get them changed.

Bought my Vantage from there. When I picked it up was given a tour of the workshop. One11 was getting serviced, a Vantage from Nigeria that gets shipped back for each service as well. They did look after me for 1st period of ownership before I moved further away. That was 9 years ago and still have the car.

I’m sorry - but on the public road you really do not need to change the the tyres in pairs. You are not in an F1 car on a track! Get real please…. BTW I’m an owner of 33 Ferrari and previously owned and raced an F1 Car!

It was probably just me, but that tyre looked old and had splits. I’d check the rest of them to make sure they’re in date.

Always get servicing and mechanical stuff done at the official dealership, but you can save $$$ by getting tyres fitted by a tyre specialist, they even come to your home

Not a bad deal really. Look at the P Zeros at Halfords, Black Circles etc and there's little difference and you don't get endless free lattes! I'm looking as I'm going to need 4 on my Vantage soon!

Absolutely crazy going to the main stealer for a tyre, they think of a number and double it. Would have been £232 fully fitted at Costco and they’re super careful with wheels.

I hate it when people do stuff like this to a tyre out of jealousy. There's no way that was there by running over it or anything.

Aston Martin smartened up in the new Vantage ... bespoke tires so you can't just pop into the tire store for a replacement!
