Dragon Age Veilguard & Mass Effect 5 with WISEFISH

I had no idea about the other studios and their games! I'm so glad they are on my radar now. Also, I want to add that Kala is giving me more hope in this game than anything else I've seen. It's nice to hear honest opinions from someone who's played a version of the game :) Thank you for the optimism and honesty.

Im really looking forward to CC for remaking inky (inquisitor) but also seeing what major choices from inquisition have been carried over to create the world state.

Ill get the obvious out the way, who you had as divine cass, viv or lilianna would play a big role, drinking/not drinking from the well at the elven temple, maybe who you romanced if inky romanced anyone, choosing mages/templars moreover if you dissovled their groups into the inquisition ranks. There may be more but those are the ones that stand out to me.

In terms of ME, i didnt really like the ending of ME3 and i kinda want shepard back.

The ending itself felt unfinished bc to me if you made the geth sentient with legions loyalty mission and got both the geth and quarians it feels like they wouldve survived bc they now had something that the reapers didn't. A "soul".

Tho i aggre that andromeda was going in the right direction (i personally liked the battle mechanics and the graphics were always terrible) and i think ME5 will bring the angarans and hopefully the geth back (we saw a poster on a previous N7 day that may indicate as such) which may have been the purpose of it.

Go to a different area with a different MC, they meet a new crew of aliens (friendly and unfriendly), bring the friendly ones into the fold and help our new allies defeat their threat. Or at least thats feels like that is how it will go.

I get that Andromeda was made in a very short time and all, and I appreciate it and loved playing it for what it was, it obviously needed more time cooking and could have been a wonderful game if given that time. But one thing it did which I hope they can get past with ME5 is just dumping in all these ME things as theming and calling it a day, rather than making it a fun and interesting game in it's own right.

To use Star Wars as a reference, it's like the Force Awakens to OG Star Wars - Andromeda was so fixated being a Mass Effect game and including all these familiar things, it never got to be its own thing separate from all that clutter. That's how I see it anyway. That's why I like the DA method of having a new player character per game, each game gets to be its own thing set in that world, where as ME became Shepard's story, so it's hard for them to move on.

I still think it looks like the southpark episode of Make love not Warcraft but as long as the story is compelling and the NPc's are well written i can get past it. Just not a big comic book guy. The environments are stunning i will say tho and i like the combat and the features. The god mode story playthroughs are gonna make replay easy without the need for mods. Also the fact that they give you the same tech to make your PC as they used to make the npcs will make mod swaps a lot easier. I like this background but this npc look bam done.

ME 5 : Bring back Shepard , but make them the new Anderson. Let them mentor our new hero. If anyone deserves a promotion , it's Shepard.

I want Shepard back as the protagonist in at least 1 more game. I fought to hard to keep him alive in ME3 and that was much more difficult in the pre-legendary edition. We now know that the inquisitor is returning in some capacity do you think a Shepard return would likely follow a similar path?

I wouldn't like to see shepherd live because well same as you really it would make the trilogy a waste of time player wise but i would definitely want to find out what happened say if they cannon destroy and synthesis like i think they will do. As for big bads i think that's what the whole andromeda thing was for to introduce the jarddan what evert the spelling of that is 😂 but yeah what if they was from the milkyway running from the reapers and their answer was the scourge that was in andromeda which could link them both. Also there is the AI that you can save who was its creator's there is loads they could introduce. As for the protagonist it would be cool if they let us play as the main races in mass effect then we are selve would play as shepherd had some impact naturally as a role model or hero its endless really

I still haven't seen or read anything to make me think I am not going to enjoy Veilguard, and, as others have said in the comments, I am looking forward to seeing the character creator - and seeing what my Rook that create in it will look like.

Exodus sounds and looks interesting from what I see on their website and in the trailer, and I want to know what Humanoid Origin studios are creating.

For the next Mass Effect, I'd rather they set it a hundred or more years after the end of ME3 and only have Shepard in flashbacks or similar showing that (if he lived in our ending) we see him have a good life with the LI we chose for him. As my as I loved playing Commander Shepard - in each of the multiple play throughs of each of the games and the Legendary Editions - I don't want to play them again. I want a new protagonist for ME5 ( I count Andromeda, for all it's flaws I still enjoyed the game and think it could have been something more than what we got).

So does anyone know if the companions in Veilguard will be the only romance options or will we get more like Cullen and the war council chick i forget her name lol.

I like the Paragon / Renegade idea. But it needed to be dressed up way better. It should not be blue = good / red = evil. It should be something like Blue = Idealistic / Green = Practical and work off with that. For example, they should have made it that sacrifice the Council should be clearly the superior option. (The Turian's respect humanity for their practical understanding of war, Shepard needs to weaken Sovereign by doing the boss fight to win in Council lives/ otherwise its the other way around and the Boss fight is way easier with Council dead, or no boss fight at all)

Basically, if you played "practical" when the tally system comes in the final game you should have like 2-3 times the points of idealistic. They tried to do it as ruthless and that was really close to being right, but many of the options come off as less ruthless and more asshole for no reason. I usually play mix and I never see it as "im partially evil." No I consider myself good, I just have different values. (No I dont believe the Krogan show they deserve it, sabotage every time lol)

Inquisition actually did that pretty well I believe in this category.

They literally regrew Shepard from a burnt bit of matter in ME2. Im sure they can repair whats left of Shep in ME3

I'll be so disappointed if we go back to the Milky Way physically. We only explored a small cluster of systems in Andromeda, and barely know anything about it. Fertile ground for more and new stuff--stories and factions and mysteries and conflicts. Milky Way's KNOWN space is already mined for the best content. Any civilizations that would were interesting enough would have used the mass relays and joined or made contact with the Citadel government already by the time of the trilogy. We are still totally blind to the overall state of Andromeda galaxy. That said, I definitely expect a story or lore connection to the Milky Way in ME5. My theory is the geth were in contact with the Jardaan. After all, it was thanks to geth surveillance of Andromeda that gave the Andromeda Initiative the data to try the journey (according to Suvi iirc). Geth already being in Andromeda somewhere could help get around the Destroy Ending issue.

If they made an academy named after Shepherd and have Shepherd as hologram along with dialog that after N7 and lead by the Spectre Shepherd to defeat the never-ending threat of the Reapers

Exodus is on my radar too! My first ME run was paragon. I tried to do renegade and failed. It didn’t like it. I’ve settled on paragade so I don’t choose any of the really mean or evil options.

I think brining Shep back for ME5 will cheapen the franchise. It looks like a desperate move. They did have the right idea with Andromeda they just didn’t execute it as well as they could have.
