Bloomberg valued my ex boss and family 4x more than what they are actually worth. Many of the executives in the company laughed our heads off on how screwed up Bloomberg can be.

If you want to see real wealth, go to Dubai. Now I know it’s pretty infamous but once you get there, you’ll know what “actual wealth” looks like. There’s a company called Emaar properties and the guy who owns it is valued at a billion dollars according to Forbes and Bloomberg. The name of his company is plastered on dozens of billion dollar buildings across the Dubai skyline (a city that was built less than half a century ago out of a desert).

The owner is way richer and probably has billions stashed in individual offshore accounts. Elon Musk the so called “richest man on earth” couldn’t come up with a quarter of a billion in a day if he needed to. That’s why he’s always jet setting around the Middle East because those guys can afford to invest cold hard cash into his ventures without a single sweat grazing their cheek.

Real wealth is not about buying a couple of Gucci loafers, it’s about buying Gucci out right.
