For a production vessel, this one is magnificent. Excellent quality of build, & the 69 is ( in my opinion) just the perfect size for its aimed market. For anyone who wishes to do some extensive distance crusing she is the one of the best designed sailcraft for her size that I have seen. Thankyou for the well done tour, I do wish I owned one of these beauties. Regards:

That woodwork is nicely done. Like the fact that you didn't hold back about the water pump noise on a multi million dollar yacht. Lol

The mast looks extremely narrow to Hold all that cloth and keep its strength

I get it. Safety, tonnage, stable, roomy, tankage, and no creaks!!!! Gonna cross a rough ocean better than any cat or lightweight. With that big engine it's tempting to single handed.

are handrails out of fashion? plenty of space to lose hold on rough sea passages.
otherwise for sure a great yacht. but i have to admit that for this price range i'd prefer a KMY

Do they have a provision for a storm jib?

I am going to get absolutely punished for this opinion, but I hate the aesthetic of Hallberg Rassy interiors - and I cannot fully work out why I dislike them so much. I think the chunky, middle-beige wood they use everywhere gives off assisted living retirement village vibes. The interiors are functional, but as much as everyone raves about their beauty, they just feel emotionally cold and leave me indifferent to vaguely aversive.

I see Volvos and I run. No reason to equip a sail boat with volvos. I suppose if you never leave major european ports you're good

I've disproven the idea that in-mast furling is "idiot proof"! 😂

Not such a beauty - but drips quality, security, surprising performance and a potential way beyond my ken, I suspect.
Needs hull windows inset to protect them from fenders, steps down to saloon need 30’ bevelled steps, all shower rooms and wet lockers need forced extractors to suck out dampness.
Mast could use a Lightning conductor strip Linked across to nearest/all standing rigging !
Huge congrats to Mr Rassy and the team of absolute geniuses who lovingly crafted such a masterpiece.

Very practical boat. I admit that I drool over the interior of Oysters HOWEVER, for anything that is expensive to acquire AND to maintain, form must follow function. I do like the desk area in this HR69 in the aft master cabin but those Seascape windows are beautiful.

Impressive yacht, sailing as well as with ingenious solutions. Very nice report w/ almost a minute of video for a foot of boat length. Btw. some buckets of sea water do wonders on an icy deck.

This is the kind of boat I’d buy.
Only thing I don’t like is the two seats in the salon on the port side.
I’d have to do something different with that.
Luv these mid mounted cabin/ steering set ups.
The rear deck is massive so great for parties an BBQs, great wide walk ways an plenty to hang onto.
That main mast setup is great from a Diabled point of view. Wish we had that on our Windrider.😂😂😂
Is the heating inside, underfloor??
An insulation about 60-70mm foam block or sprayed??
Oh the other thing I’d have is rain showers from Celing.
Can they fit incinerating heads, instead of elec or pumper dumpers ?
Could easy spend rest of my life pottering around the word on one of these beauties.

Beautiful blue water yacht build by craftsmen. I'd make a few small changes but generally a real gem to sail around the world. An expensive toy not likely to be taken up by the wealthy as a world cruiser. Smaller H.B-R. yachts are probably better value.

Every man who dreams about sailing deserve to get it at some day. Not spending millions on some fancy cars and houses. But sadly it is so hard to get one beautiful yacht if it is not 20-30 years old at 36’ size. I personally dream about oyster 675, changing my lifestyle and job in attempt to get money for her

I live in Stockholm Sweden and used to sail a lot, miss it so much... That is one lovely boat... I was looking at a Maxi 1100 before reality gave me a hard check.

Nice film - dream machine. Suprised the deck seemed devoid of an attachment point for an extra forestay - would be handy for a smaller upwind sail or a storm jib.

Obsolete design in my mind. For that price you can get more comfort and performance at similar quality by looking at some of the performance catamaran offerings out there these days. Yes, different kind of boat but same mission.

Is there a reason why you don't see very many boats with leather or doe skin for the interior upholstery? Does it crack faster on a boat vs a vehicle?

By the look and sound of you , you have fallen in love big time. Beautifull yacht and quality finishes with ease of sailing ... it's just the price (complaining , not complaining lol) and nowhere to store the pots and pans that get me.. Thanks for the tour and video.
