Got the Samsung 83in S90c from last black friday!! I'm happy with it, but next years release of Samsungs QD-OLED at 83in got me feeling like i should of waited to upgrade! Haha oh well

I still have an PN59D550 plasma from 2011 that just doesn't want to die and therefore my wife I questioning my desire for a newer TV. The S90C @ $1000 or the QM7 @ $700 sound like really good deals though.

I got the 77 S90D for 2199. I got a faulty G4 in 65 inch for 2299 and returned the the S90D. I think the G4 is the better tv, but I’d rather have a 77 inch vs 65. The 77 G4 is too much.

Just bought a 65” s95c from Best Buy yesterday for $670!
Brand new, not an open-box. Went to buy the s90d but saw one of these in the back on clearance and had to grab it. The salesperson had to double check the price because the 55” was $1200 and the 77” was $1999, but for some reason the 65” was only $670. I feel like I won Christmas.

Hi fomo, I just sold my old c1 and I am between LG OLED G4 vs Sony A95L.
My use case is Sports watching , as well as streaming services like Netflix and ripped blurays via Plex.
I like the cinematic picture that sony offers but it is not so good as brightness in sdr content (sports, tv shows) is conecerned. My living room is not so bright though.
What are you suggesting?

Fomo. Would you go to last years G3 for a discount? Or do you think the A11 chip and better brightness is worth an extra 1k for the G4. I’m coming from an LG E6 (glas back panel) still works great but I want larger. I do like the inky black reminiscent of old plasmas. My fear tho is the the new brightness of the G4 will wash out the image and won’t be as rich. Plus. Fun fact is that the G3 was the last year LG did ATSC 3.0 next gen tuners in their TV’s standard. which I’m upset about as I watch antenna TV. All that said. I’m debating G3 or G4 83”. Is the 83”G3 non MLA a big enough deal to go G4 How bright is G4? Will it wash an image out? Thank you for your help. I dig ur videos.

Sidebar, heard form a Best Buy employee that the 4 series has issues. He said he’s replaced 3 panels since they’ve been up in the store. Think they were the B&C tho, smaller sizes. Heard anything about that?

After having a 55” LG CX (which was a great tv) I opted for a 65” C4 and was expecting a major upgrade. I was quite disappointed. In game mode the TV looks way too dim and had no pop. I returned the TV and replaced it with a 65” Samsung S90D since I heard game mode doesn’t dim. I will update once I get it!

The G4's 5 year panel warranty explicitly excludes burn in, plus it doesn't cover labour or any other components on the TV

Do you know the difference between (and which is best) between these two Samsung S90D? S90DATXXU (QD-OLED panel) and S90DAEXXU (W-OLED panel) ? I'm in Switzerland and I don't know which one we do have. I am not sure we do have the choice actually.

I just got a 83 inch LG C4. I have one pixel where red and blue subpixels are dead. otherwise the rest of the screen is perfect. Is that normal to have a dead pixel or two? Or is it worth swapping out this big TV and exchange for a new one?

S90D is pretty amazing!! My first OLED tv. Makes never want to go back to LED. What's a good setting for sports? And anyone prefer Bravia 7?
