I really don’t need another bird deck… but I might build that Choco one lol. I have a Kastral deck so I could just take the best birds from it and add some green, tho I think Kastral is better. For each player dealt damage with a bird, you can choose to draw a card or put a +1/+1 counter on each bird you control. I don’t really use his first ability or even remember it, but I think you can put a bird from your graveyard onto the battlefield with a finality counter.

vivi and terra are both extremely powerful, vivi has some pretty early game combos and if you find a way to keep flickering her she can go infinite with a few 3-4 card combos, terra takes a little longer to develop but literally goes infinite with EVERYTHING, so far ive seen 14 cards that she goes infinite with immediately as she flips, ofc you need to pop 6 mana but youre in 5 colors so a good enough combo deck can get the infinite going as early as turn 3-4 and instantly close out the game

0 cost activated abilities are pretty easy to break (remember Nadu), so the fact they put once per turn on ViVi makes sense

Terra infinites with Spark Double. Flip her, target her with Spark Double, then you can use the first ability to make a copy of the Spark Double Terra, which makes another and another and another. Combo with impact tremors to win out-right, or use her ability to put 3 counters on the copy when it’s made to generate infinite double rainbow to dump into exanguinate, comet storm, crescendo, whatever x spell you want.

Could i put Terra in a Gruul deck even though she produces all colors?

Vivi is so good, idk if I’ll make a deck out of him or throw him into my Ghyrson Starn deck

Do both of Vivi's abilities work with Harmonic Prodigy? My guess is the first one won't because it's activated not triggered, but the second one would.

Me seeing Choco: "I have finally found a home for Dovescape". Pre-spoilers, I was most interested in Vincent and Gilgamesh, but seeing that all their cards are monocolor was a bit disappointing. I'll probably still try and build one of them.

Vivi is competitive, commander or 99. Enough said.
Cheerios and cantrips is my recommendation.

Barbra + haste enabler = infinite coloured mana.

Choco + Dovescape = W, especially if no one has enchantment removal on a creature.

As a huge birds fan, Choco feels made for me I love it. Also I’ve never built a 5 color deck but Terra is cool enough I might have to start.

can people shut up about ViVi? literally everyone has heard about them by now, there’s a person at my LGS who doesn’t like the set and hasn’t looked at spoilers but they know about ViVi, it’s just so annoying to see a list about cool commanders have the most broken commander they’ve printed in ages

As someone whose first custom-built EDH Deck was Bird Tribal the excitement I had for Choco is indescribable.

Don't know if it's better than Kastral, though. Would have to test it.

I've never wanted to build an izzet deck before. But I'm going to build Vivi, and I'm putting in Ghyrson Starn Kellermorph immediately.

Maybe i have a knack for picking powerful cards.. its more about the mechanics seeming fun for me, yet, i always pick commanders super early into spoilers only to find out its one of, if not thee most powerful in the set. I just thought Vivi seemed fun and id been talking about doing a Spellslinger deck for months.. one of the last ones i picked was Nadu.. lol before i even knew it COULD churn out plays so hard
