Idkn how but i defeated the cabin (professional) with the standard Pistol and Shotgun (no upgrades) on my first try

Edit: I forgot i used Headcanon to the Bull dude, probably that's how XD

I found out that professional mode really does 100% have rigged moments. For example, there were parts where I could be blasting away with the handcannon and a enemy would still be charging at me. And after they would attack, they would just collapse. Another rigged moment I found was I was using the shotgun, and none of the shots were landing.

Make sure you quit and dont continue because of Adaptive Difficulty, sure if you want a little assistance then do it but if you want to bet this cabin with no AI help then quit and re load. I am a sucker to punish myself and want the hardest experience.

I notice the charms you have attached to your case. Do you spend the time on a professional run in the shooting gallery to try and obtain some good charms? It seems like it'd be too costly time-wise.

Ok so just a helping guide that worked for me on S rank

1.Board up first single window
And push drawer in front of left window

And grab everything so you don’t have to grab it later

Fight them on the stairs
I let them come in fully so I could get all the equipment they drop

Once they drop the planks
Pick them up and board up the windows (obviously)

Once they put the ladders up
Ignore Louis and stay downstairs
And wait on the Brute

Once the brute comes hit him with everything you got

Keep moving
Shotguns and the smg are great when you get crowded

I went into this fight with only one bullet lol

Bro i arrived in this area with 8 handgun bullets, it was really tough to survive. After an hour or so trying i finally made it.

I'm not even on professional and I've been stuck on this part for a couple days now and I have zero flash I might have to restart the chapter

I've been trying this goddamned cabin fight for 5 hours now. the game gave me ZERO ammo or resources for the hour before it almost so i'm going into it with literally nothing but 12 handgun bullets.

During the fight i get basically nothing but handgun ammo in 80% of the runs and one green herb. What the heck is this....who can do this fight with a handgun and one herb?

EDIT: I beat it in 31 tries. This was a terribly unfun and poorly balanced fight. I finally managed to get ok rng and got an extra grenade and got 3 shotgun shells and simply less ganados poured in. They REALLY need to rebalance a lot of the item drops on professional. The rng is ALL over the place. Sometimes it's raining ammo when you have nothing to do with it and then you'll play for hours and get almost nothing in some of the hardest parts.

If you can when using shotgun bunch the enemies together so you will hit a few at the same time not wasting bullets.

This is the part that made me realize this is the worst RE game I've played, the gameplay, AI and camera are just atrocious. Compared to RE2 and RE3 this game was really trash, I'm glad I didn't waste my money and refunded it.

Garbage game overall

Man, impressive. I’m at this point and getting my ass handed to me! I also don’t have nearly as much supplies as you do, I’m at the mercy of whatever drops inside the cabin.

I’m stuck on hardcore at this spot any tips?

I’m only on standard difficulty, but I’m having trouble here. I only have 2 shotgun bullets and about 10 rifle bullets and 1 grenade, but quite a few handgun bullets. It sounds like I have a lot, but I reallllly don’t. The rifle ammunition is doing no good, as everything is in too close proximity. And only having two shotgun bullets is realllly making me struggle here. I didn’t run through all the enemies like you did to get to the cabin. I’ve killed every single possible thing I could in this game, except for the area where I eventually found out that the enemies were just respawning. Am I screwed?

I mean, I’ve beaten Evil Within 1 and 2 on their hardest difficulty, so idk why I’m struggling so much lol. I just came from playing multiple souls likes and I keep wanting to slice and dice enemies with a sword, which I don’t have lol.

My dumbass used up most of my ammo just getting here.

From playing this and just about every tip I've read about it it seems like this part is damn near impossible without flashbangs. I never much used them in the original RE4 so I didn't figure they were all that important. Man, oh man, was I wrong. I'm stuck on this section and I find it annoying enough where I kinda feel like I might not want to go through the game more than once.

I tried this on professional but I had to reload and reset the difficulty to normal. Even on easy it's a difficult and unfamiliar challenge.

Cheers bro I had barely any Ammon and literally failed 15 times at least I wanted to smash my stuff up but just cleared it first time after this. I will make sure I am prepared in future because that was insanely hard

I just finished this part in Hardcore and I suuuuffered lmao. For starters, this is my first play through (I saw my bro play prior) but since I am a OG RE4 veteran, I figured Hardcore was the only way I can respectfully play this first run. But bro… upon getting to this point, all I had on my was a sentinel nine with 23 bullets, a first aid spray that I HAD to purchase prior, a yellow herb, 3 L resources with no gunpowder and my health wheel was at 40% to top it off. I died SO. MANY. TIMES. I literally memorized my entire routine, and I always hoped I’d get some shotgun shells for the bull at the end. My reflexes and battle iq evolved as I was struggling so much. I was holding back from upgrading my shotgun and buying the flash grenade recipe since the riot gun comes out in the next chapter and the flash grenade discount does too, but I had no choice but to upgrade my gear. Once I did that, I think I finally made it after 3 more tries. But it was luck, I depended on initially getting some shotgun rounds or some S resource and only using my shotgun for the bull, it was insane but I finally did it. Then the bella sisters killed me, but I killed them on the third try lol. Its always bad luck, I either miss my parry or I dodge unnecessarily and get chainsawed while crouching. This game is madness, I can’t even imagine professional on ps5

so basically i fucked up not buying more stuff from merchant, mkay(😭😭i dont wanna go back and buy them☹️)

Lol I grew up playing res 4 so when I got the remake I naturally decided I wanted to play on professional 😝 lol i do love the challenge but I was so stuck on this part ! After watching your video, I sold my fully upgraded punisher, bought the flash recipe , upgraded my red9, and went to WORK. Beat it in one try with this strategy 😉 🎉

I’m not sure if this fight or Heisenberg village of shadows is a harder fight.

First playthrough ever, on Hardcore, and this part killed me 17 times. More than any other Chapter. Mainly because I had zero resources and always started it at half health so I just got lucky with green herb drops from the enemies eventually. Made me rage quit the game for a day almost lol.

Staying on the stairs is a good tactic. But I never seem to have the luxury of having that many grenades and flash grenades. One thing I would add is to shoot the barrel outside the window at the base of the stairs as soon as possible. Kills at least 2 or 3 cultists with one bullet.

block the window with wood, then push the bookshelf. It will block that path forever

how do you have SO much ammo? i have like 1 grenade, 1 shotgun shell and 20 pistol bullets, shits impossible

I recently bought the game and skipped straight to hardcore mode. Despite it being frustratingly difficult, I finally beat it for both Leon and Ada. I'm now on Profesional mode for both characters. That cabin ambush scene is so hard because I need to practice those "perfect" parries in order to survive. It's like they just swarm you from all sides because the game "knows" what you're about to do. I'm stuck for now, and this R3 camera is something to get used to as well. I'll make it, though. I said I'm going to rock this game as I have in the original on the Wii.
