Thanks Dr God bless wtchng fr Houston Texaa
ОтветитьI’ve already had L3 L4 L5 fusion. It’s been just over a year and I’m worse not better.. My last appointment with my Surgeon he concluded that the Nerve damage is permanent and I should learn to live with it!
I’m considering a 2nd opinion but I’d like your opinion. Any and all suggestions and/or information appreciated greatly.. Thanks
Thank You very much Dr. This video was indeed helpful to me. I have always been going for an xray scan and the results always say I'm fine whilst within me I still feel much pain, tingling and numbness throughout one of my legs to my lower back right from my adolescent stage to my age now at 27. Now I know that what I need to go for is an MRI when i have the financial capacity. But at least for the mean time, there is this relief of understanding what I am going through. Thank You once again Dr.
ОтветитьIt sure would be helpful if you would cover the thoracic spine, too please.
ОтветитьDr Su. I have Lumbar Spinal Stenosis. However, my pain gets worse when I’m seated. What is that ?
ОтветитьThank you thank you I know that I'm really late but I just found your video, for the past year I have been getting CT scans MRIS going to various doctors and not getting an answer I have had an EMG I've had a lot of things confirmed but not as far as my bone structure. Now I have a PT instructor and I religiously everyday do my PT. So that said I have congenital stenosis wow I wish I would have been told about that one, my family is not communicate very well. I Now understand a little bit of why my left side of my body is not as strong as the right side no matter what I do and why I can only walk 100 yards and sit down and feel better you're the first one to tell me that thank you so much
ОтветитьYou described my stenosis, I can't walk. I love sitting down. I lean forward on a shopping cart.
ОтветитьThis is exactly what I have
ОтветитьI would like to see a presentation on the w.e.l.l. proceedure
ОтветитьVery knowledgeable and easy to listen to. I’m 39 now, broke two vertebrae L3L4 when I was 18 and three years ago my right knee went numb, couple months later full sciatica down my back right leg and shocking sensations began, 200 plus a day in several locations throughout my entire foot ankle and toes. Leg shakes and has cold spots. Every surgeon just says emg looks ok and no compression on S1 nerve no need for surgery. They assume my back hurts because my vertebrate look compressed in the MRI but it’s a completely different story when it’s my leg.
ОтветитьINCREDIBLE AND AMAZING explanation. Thank you.
ОтветитьI wish when you’re diagnosed with spinal stenosis from your care doctors rice, rightist doctors that they would explain my way did you have you include everything from what spinal stenosis is to medication and you discussed surgery rate I do have spinal stenosis
ОтветитьBeen there. Had a laminectomy in 2007. Lasted under 4 years then needed a L4 L5 fusion for slippage.
ОтветитьYes that was a very informative video I really learned alot from it
ОтветитьIs there any way possible that a 3-D printer can print your vertebrates and your bone structure for replacement like a 2 piece snap
ОтветитьCan it get as bad so you would be paralyzed
ОтветитьOn a scale to 1 to 10 my doctor said I'm a definite 10
ОтветитьI wish you would contact me I would like for you to do my surgery
ОтветитьDr. Su is amazing!!! He explains well. Too bad he doesn’t practice in Camarillo, CA!
ОтветитьMy advanced lumbar spinal stenosis was seen ( along with large bone spurs, stage 4 DDD & SI joint issue ) on x-ray 24 years after 1st dx. from MRI.
ОтветитьWhat if it's caused from osteomyelitis.
ОтветитьKeep posted on non surgery info.
ОтветитьThis is the best video I’ve watched about this condition.
ОтветитьDr Brian Su is the best. Your explanation have made us understand about symptoms Thanks so much.
ОтветитьExcellent, experienced speaker with very helpful, easy to understand information. Dr Su's videos are well worth the time it takes to view them. Thank you Dr. Su, you are amazing!
ОтветитьThis is all me
ОтветитьDo you recommend the Minuteman Procedure for L 4 & L 5 lumbar stenosis?
ОтветитьHai dr Su. Iam from indonesia. My daughter 41 yrs 48 kg old diagnosed with osteoprosis and having spine lumbar stenosis as well. Local Dr suggested for stenosis surgery..but looking at side effect we are scared. Can it be cured by medication, therapy etc...need your info ..thank you very much...
Ответить.
ОтветитьHi Dr Su , I'm 69 years old and had a decompression of 4 & 5 in February this year as an emergency all was great and had 3 months of work as a plumbing & heating engineer. After returning to work 2months later I started getting the same problems in my right leg from my bottom to my knee, identical back to my doctor and they sent me for a MRI now I'm been told that 2 / 3 / & 4 are showing signs of the same problem. Is this a common factor. Great video many thanks
ОтветитьI'm 31 and i lost 50 lbs of leg muscle in 6 weeks from this... Get MRIs... Review them yourself... Hey multiple doctors from different network's/cities to review... Pay out of pocket for the information if tou need to.... This is no joke
ОтветитьWhat do you do with doctors doing nothing that do nothing 5 or 6 levels C,T,L,and S spine bear lying walk legs going out t travels along ribs effects breathing and digestion?????compression of cord not just nerves.
ОтветитьIncredibly clear, comprehensive and concise info - best I have listened to. Thanks - it's really useful.
ОтветитьWill spinal steroid injection weaken the ligamentum. Flav.if it is buckling with marked central canal stenosis
ОтветитьIt is painful and inhibits normal body movements like bending, twisting and makes sleeping differcult.
The suffering person is often, grumpy, negative & and gets depressed easily due to a lack of sleep and constant aching pain.
So informative! thank you for sharing this information
ОтветитьCan you do one on epidural lipomatosis. Just found out I have one at L3/L4
ОтветитьI was just told I have this problem. X-ray confirmation, waiting for MIR next. My are Legs getting numb.
ОтветитьFirst video by a surgeon that actually talks about the conservative treatment in a positive way and that there are some good results for a number of patients.
ОтветитьThanks for the explanation 🙏
The next question is, is there any natural ( non surgical ) treatment for that
It could be treatment laser disc decoprasion ? Or not?
ОтветитьI have disc protrusion in my L3-4-5 causing mild spinak canal stenosis and severe foramen stwnosis and i can do the exercises u show here... But i cant sit for long and the pain in my sciatic nerve like burning and muscle spasm lessen but dont go away... By the way thank you for this video.
ОтветитьI am an Acupuncture Physician and I see many patients with spinal issues. I am going to share these very concise and informative videos and save myself a lot of teaching time in my treatment room. Thank you for your dedication to providing this very valuable insight to people suffering with pain. Understanding exactly what is going on gives patients power to make decisions. You are a prime example of what is all too often missing in Alopathic Medical Care; that is a good explanation. You might want to mention Acupuncture as another non surgical treatment for spinal pain syndromes. Medicaire now pays for Acupuncture specifically for low back pain.
ОтветитьFrom your diagnosis tool (various muscle usage), it appears I may have S1 pinching (very weak and shrinking right calf). Do you have a stretching/exercise regime to eleviate this???
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video! Supwr educational!
ОтветитьThank you for your clear explanation of LSS. I am 67YO and have signs of arthritis at L5S1. I am a runner and when I run that is the only time my back is pain free. Standing after sitting just a few minutes causes 8/10 pain (lessens as I move around). Is this going to be the rest of my life? Thanks for the great videos.
ОтветитьSuperb Explanation /Thank you
ОтветитьI have a congential fusion if l1 and l2 as well as hypermobile eds, and si joints. Im 30 and barely walking. Im also having huge gastro issues, and can barely eat, could this be related to the nerve in my spinal fusion?
ОтветитьI glad I found this helpful channel. I just got a mri for my lumber spine. It show disc protrusion L4-L5 with moderate to severe spinal canal stenosis. I'm 38 does that sound OK? Cause I know when u mention spinal stenosis u say age 60 pr up are more to get it.
ОтветитьSure is.
