Another grocery store thats good is BJs ! You can buy things in bulk or wholesale but you have to pay for membership thats the bad part!

I love these shopping hauls Sam's Club and Wal-Mart are my go-tos! If they don't have something THEN I will go to Kroger but Kroger is my last resort.

JUST AN FYI: Sirloin is the leanest type of ground beef and regular ground beef has a higher fat content which is why sirloin is higher! Keep in mind that healthier choices are always more expensive than the unhealthy stuff.

U could have purchased the $1 muffins u add water n make them yourself to save cash, they have budding ham/turkey etc less than .75. Its been times where my monthly grocery budget was 100, have to be strategic.

Fruits and most vegetables are priced per pound so those grapes may have been more than $2 also get buns from bread aisle the 8 packet store brand cheaper than Hawaiian rolls lastly the lunch meat have a smaller package cheaper

Just get what you want. 😊 They over charge for the meat. Alaska did have a Sam Club but they moved on several years ago. Alaska does have Costco.

now l ain't say it the cheapest, l said it's my store l like, they try to make you think they the cheapest, l like the store for they variety but certain products l don't like the taste of that l don't get my hamburger meat there. we used to have a kroger many years ago in my town but they shutdown and my granddad used to shop there and l rarely went there cos my stepmom would go to foodlion when l was much younger as a kid. l think costco and sams club memberships are both $50, my mom shops there at the two of them sometimes

If you want to stay on budget, writing out a list is very helpful. I think Walmart is the cheapest store to shop at but Costco and Sam's Club requires memberships and you have to buy in bulk. In California we have both Costco and Sam's Club.

I don't shop at Wal Mart because their meat and produce always look suspect. I shop at HEB. I try to also shop at the farmer's market and meat market. I also have noticed that the Asian market has good prices on meat and produce.

You can make homemade jalapeños. It is easy and jalapeños are cheap. You cut up the jalapeños and put them in a container and when the vinegar and salt mixer comes to a light boil then pour it over the jalapeños and put the lid on the container.

I like the idea of a shopping list. I also think you need to incorporate looking at the expiration dates on foods. I also like using the calculator on your phone. With each item from your shopping list keep track of the prices. Look 👀 to see if prices are per pound or each. Meat department make your own patties instead of prepared patties by the meat department. You pay more per pound if the meat is prepared into patties for you. Muffins, make your own muffins. It’s more 🎉fun and cheaper and you can control the quantity that evening. When you buy things that are prepared for you, it’s more expensive. Before you checkout add up your shopping list so you know the total . Remember, there is no tax on food at the grocery stores. There is tax on fast foods. Make your own coffee and all things you like in it. Make going out to eat once a month or every two months. Leave Sodas 🥤 alone, the sweetener in it adds to your waistline and bumps on your face. Check the sodium and sugar in your foods, less heart 💜, Parkinson’s and dementia in your future. Live well.

Suggestion: use a calculator as you shop and grocery list.

The hamburger patties in the Hawaiian rolls together or probably 15 or $16 and that would have only left you with a $3 and some change to spare.

When you buy slider patties but want a larger hamburger, simply place two patties together, roll and flatten them, and voilà—you’ve got a regular-sized burger!

There is no tax on food. You went over budget on the expensive hamburger patties and pre-cooked bacon. Always get hamburger meat that is not pre-made into patties, you pay way more that. Also, you did not take time to compare prices on all the hamburger choices, nor the bacon choices. And the buns were too expensive.

You didn’t have a grocery list and bought things that wasn’t part of the burger meal so that’s why you went over budget 😂😂😂😂
