I remember going to one of his last shows. So grateful to have seen it in person but you could tell something went way deeper at the end.
ОтветитьGod. Okay so I subscribed after recognizing you were a fellow songwriter... but watching you react to this....and feeling all the things. It just means so much to know that other people feel this as deeply as I did back when I watched this for the first time...way before Inside came out... just knowing that this is getting recognition now means so much to me.
ОтветитьAmazing reaction made me feel like it was my first time listening again and brought on the same emotions.
Your reaction video is Great way of gettin that same endorphin hit I got originally.
👍👍
If I’m not wrong this was 5 years before all eyes on me. Just FYI.
Ответить“Attempt to give you what I cannot give myself” is just a raw version of “Comedy” from inside. “I’ll panic. So give me a call and tell me a joke.” Technically same message.
ОтветитьGod its so crazy watching this cause now I can see when he starts having a panic attack and I legitimately cannot watch this without crying 😭
ОтветитьThe "put your hands up" comment probably didn't influence All Eyes on Me because this song was released a while before quarantine
ОтветитьThis hit extremely deep.
ОтветитьI think the burrito is a metaphor for his life... He got too much in his life, that he asked for himself, but it has overwhelmed him, but now that he has it, he can't just leave it or get rid of it, because parts of him needs it all, even at the expense of his mental health
Or maybe he just likes burritos, what do I know.. right?
Pretty sure this was his last live audience. His comedy style has always been to push just to the point to make people feel uncomfortable and then reeling it back in. He has always talked about having to please the masses and not being able to be honest because It doesn't sell.
ОтветитьHe's not talking about superficial shit with the burrito bit. He's regretting his fame. He's saying "look, I wouldn't have bit off more than I could chew had I known it would be THIS much. I'd have taken less." He's the burrito, he's the pringle can. Even the "I wish I had a daughter" bit, while funny, this is a dude who's my age that because of the fame and pressure has never had a stable relationship. He didn't exactly have a wife in the room with him setting up his camera shots and lighting effects. He's by himself.
Dude is legitimately brilliant. Are you happy?
I hope you're legit and NOT Faking the Fact you saw this before your Review!
ОтветитьThis is the final song he did before the 5 year break BEFORE "Inside" and "All Eyes On Me" so it was not a reference lol.
ОтветитьI believe this was the Panic Attack that made him quit for 5 years.
ОтветитьAre you aiming these at children? What's with the censorship?
Ответить"is this an All Eyes on me reference?" bro this is like from 5 yrs ago and Inside was just
ОтветитьThe censoring really throws me off, but I know it's for the dictator robots
ОтветитьThe last scream near the end of the song was not planned. It was real. His producers were scrambling to try and find out why
ОтветитьThe third yell at the very end always breaks my heart. The whole thing is supposed to be poking fun at ad libbing in various songs but that third one was just a real scream, and it doesn't feel intentional to me. I think that was just the real emotions coming out... :/
ОтветитьThis was the panic attack. This was his last show. Those yells at the end were not scripted. He physically had too.
ОтветитьHe was having a panic during this and that was the last song before a 5 year break to get help.
Ответить"He's about to shift into some serious issues"
No. The whole video was about serious issues. He tricked you. It was never about Pringles cans or burritos. Listen again, and ponder. ;)
Alternate song title: First World Problem’s
ОтветитьThe Burrito is a metaphor for fame. He wouldn't have got half of it, if he had have known what he had to give up and the anxiety that it would bring...
ОтветитьI just noticed brad has an eyebrow twitch
ОтветитьAight. Thoughts: "guess i better do my job so here i go" that means that this is a job to him with his anxiety. Also the last scream in the breakdown felt genuine like he was getting out some pent up emotions. Also "i hope your happy" instead of thank you have a good night is like "i hope that from my inconvenience and hard work you got what you think you wanted". Just my thoughts
ОтветитьDo you have a cover of all eyes on me anywhere I could listen too? I absolutely loved the little part of it you sang in this video and would definitely listen to your cover of the song
ОтветитьI'm sure there are a million comments already telling you this but this song was the last song he performed before the 5 year break he talks about in all eyes on me.
Edit: I think that might be why all eyes on me is kind of reminiscent of this song
The Pringle can and burrito rants are references about himself. The Pringle can symbolizes him feeling trapped in a tight confined space where he feels unreachable bc of the wall he's built around himself. The burrito is symbolizing all of his emotions, ie. Depression, anxiety, stress... being too much to contain within himself and he's at the bursting point.
ОтветитьOk so every single reactor \ reaction group that I've seen react to this specific video, has had that holy cheese cringe face (stink with extra cringe) when Bo starts spitting truth. Why can't ppl just say; I love you because you love me, I hate you either because you're happy and free and I'm bound by contacts and rules or because you're so opinionated and judge harshly, I need you because if you don't like me I don't have a means to live, and I fear you because you might turn your back on me because of my content if you don't agree?
I think that most ppl who watch stand up, vin diagramed with react videos, would respect free speech.
may be a year late to this video, but that last little bit almost makes me cry every time i hear this song. you can almost feel the emotion in the "i hope you're happy"
ОтветитьIt's the old story of the sad clown.... the sad clown paradox is an old story and bo burnham has lived it out right in front of our eyes on full display
Ответитьnot a lot of people know this but every verse had an a lot deeper meaning than people first think. i forget what the Pringle one was about but i know that the burrito was about putting so much on yourself that you basically just start freaking out and not being able to “handle this” bo is an absolute genius
ОтветитьI can't with "All Eyes On Me Refrence?" No, it is not, this came out 6 years before Inside 💀💀
Ответитьpringles = happiness. chipotle = fame/success. Bo's a mastery of metaphor.
Ответитьhow is bo not a much larger phenomenon in america ?
ОтветитьAre you really cutting out / skipping over "shit"? What kind of weak-ass shit is that?
Have some respect for the art.
ALL EYES ON ME WAS 5 YEARS LATER
ОтветитьJoseph Campbell said creativity is a side effect of mental illness.
ОтветитьBo was doing those yells at the end of the song because he was having a panic attack and just trying to get through it.
ОтветитьBro wtf dont bleep shit is it 1st grade?
ОтветитьAll about reaching for money, you only get crumbs thrown apathetically at your face, then when you get a sudden success no one tells him it would be this overflowing that you start asking maybe I got too much what about those who used to get only crumbs like I did. I'm not oblivious I feel guilty, God save me why did you not make me oblivious and blissful. You made me smart enough to know wrong and become sad
ОтветитьAll the trivials were matephor, examine how he speaks, change the items he talked about with money and life, it's a placeholder rant for something else
ОтветитьWhat i like most is, to me the Pringles thing is utter nonsense, played for laughs. The burrito thing (first iteration) is also rather on the silly side.
But after his whole "my whole problem is you" thing he repeats the "wouldn't have gotten xy" thing, thus making it like a metaphor about his career.
Which would fit in with other statements of his and says, that had he known how much this would break him, he never would have taken his carreer so far amd stopped way sooner.
He is the burrito. And he reached maximum burrito capacity long ago. But he wanted more and kept putting toppings onto his burrito and now it has spilled. He has spilled and cannot contain his emotions anymore
