Good thing they weren't checked by the warden. Fire eggs and trout worms are artificial but are scented with garlic and natural materials so it's considered live bait. Those trout have never seen live bait so they went crazy over it 😂

You guys should try to thread the fireworm on the hook going right in the middle of the worm covering the hook shank it really drifts more naturally hides the hook perfect presentation

Our streams in NC and VA don't allow any scented baits in our Delayed Harvest streams. No bait, at all. Rather generous that they let you use those in Missouri

Thank you this is very informative, and how you took time away from the river to show exactly how you set up is great. I love roaring river we go there every year. We had been catching them on berkley floating pinch crawlers, but want to learn a new way. I got some of your worms and fire balls. excited to find out next week.

Fished roaring river for 10 to 15 years long time ago. It sure has changed alot. All those concrete walkways, used to be all rocks and just riverside. I watched several people fall in over the years when trying to net a fish. Always hilarious. I guess it becam a liability or something. Tims fly shop used to be close by and a good resource for flies or whatever you need. The catch and release section was where i fished the last several years, then i started wading on down river out of the park all together. Great times alot of good memories. Park did flood several times over the years, that wasnt so great.

I have fished at Roaring River for years and found that id=f you completely hide the hook you will have better luck than if the hook is showing
