No actual app to take advantage of it's superior computing.
Ответитьthis was amusing. All these physicists.. all finding that they are failing. Could/might/maybe in every direction.
ОтветитьI would guess a good chunk of these companies will not last choose carefully .
ОтветитьThe 1 000 000 qubit requirement has been debunked since this video came out. Also low temperature aren't required for uon trapping.
ОтветитьCan you do a video on the 'Fusion-Based Quantum Computation' paper?
ОтветитьQuote from Goldman Sachs "There is a high level of uncertainty around widespread adoption" of quantum computing ⚛️🤣😆😂
ОтветитьShe claims it is an emerging technology dispiotee thee fact thaat virtually nothing has emerged. That should be your first clue that she is full of bull.
ОтветитьWould it be easier to mantain low temperatures required for quantum computers in space or vacuum, or it will only cause complication with cooling of conventional circutry?
ОтветитьIf the atoms in ion traps are missing electrons, wouldn't they have a positive charge?
ОтветитьLmao didn’t you make a video saying “dont fall for the hype”? I knew this technogy was close to being commercialized and im glad I didn’t listen cause I made a 30% profit off of quantum computing already in that 6 month time period
ОтветитьAlbert Einstein's Theory of Relativity is wrong. There are several evidences that demonstrate this:
1. Albert Einstein hypothesis: nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. Evidence: based on astronomical observations demonstrate some galaxies move faster than the speed of light.
2. Albert Einstein's hypothesis: the photon has zero mass so it can travel at the speed of light. Evidence: a photon is deflected by the gravitational field of a black hole, the sun or any planet, so it can be concluded that the photon behaves like any other object with mass.
3. Albert Einstein's hypothesis: the photon has zero mass so it has no inertia and cannot produce heat when it hits another object. Evidence: when a photon collides with a surface, it exerts a force of mv2/2, for this reason your body heats up when exposed to the sun.
Quantum computing - the holy grail of computing, or the scientific self-deception of them all. - The superior computing power over them all, the transition from sequential computing to parallel computing, but is it so true? Is not the world sequential after all. I was not born at the same time as my mother, so I would not be her son, but her brother. The evolution of life has always happened sequentially. Not only with parallel computing - sounded the wise words of the knowledge creator, but certainly if not also the promises of multi-parallel computing, - several tasks at once! A dream, but not a reality. Nor a general quantum computer - every man owns. Then there is the operationality of the quantum computers, the "programs" and not least the error corrections that are needed to achieve a result, based on which coincidences - that come into play and must be corrected, using probability - for where the error is in the result. Probability is used in the statistics when, for example. throws 100 coins in the air and will see how many land on heads or tale. - It's Probability! Well then let's say that 25% of the coins that show heads are wrong - so we do not count them, then we have the right result! - That is ridiculous.
ОтветитьSabine was quite optimistic and almost non ironical in this video. Am I in a parallel universe?
ОтветитьWait, Honeywell has a Quantum Computer??? I thought they just made space heaters.
ОтветитьIt was VonNeuman dream (and assumption) that computers can replace real experiments - with no proof or even a thought that it could work.
ОтветитьShould have been Marcus Garvey on her shirt but hey potato, zapthnath maranahem (reserved for destruction)
ОтветитьWould you create an Onlyfans channel, where you talk more advanced physics?
ОтветитьFrom a formal point of view, extended fuzzy logic, in Pythagorean, intuitionist and neutral sets, covers any quantum computing, in extensive form.
ОтветитьQuantum supremacy? Sounds like they need to come up with a fourteen-word slogan for that.
ОтветитьIf it takes more actions to get 1 number they can never be faster, I see a gimmick to pump stock while using specialized cores and AI to solve certain problems faster, also they need a excuse to use the backdoor in encryption of the NSA used in bitcoin.
ОтветитьCan you post in your description interesting articles as the ones you have read on the topic? Thank you!
ОтветитьIt’s not happening.
ОтветитьYou already demystified quantum entanglement,do'es it mean quantum computer's only selling point is it's super conductivity compared to present computers?
Ответитьnah, its a new way for companies to fk people over
ОтветитьSabine can any of these quantum computers be accessed by voice command? Or asked questions?
ОтветитьNeed a computer which think, which feels emotions, a computer which produce apps like man . what is man ? Is a machine who produce apps( applications) ,that would be an attainment
ОтветитьIs quantum computing as well „confirmed“ as „Dark Matter“? Given that all existing Quantum Computers have ordinary computers attached to them, I don‘t see any real proof that these things really work!
ОтветитьHei Sabine: Here is my „challenge“: Quantum Computers are‘nt based on Quantum Theory, but only of our interpretation of it. To explain it as simple as possible: Quantum Theory predicts the „Double slit-experiment“ and is well coroborated in this. Now one can assume that the photon flies through both slits at once (or that that cat is alive and dead at the same time!) and based on this assumption, quantum computers would be more efficent, because a qbit would be in both states 1 and 0 at once. But nobody knows wether this interpretation is correct, right? All we know in the end is that the cat is alive OR dead when we open the box and that there is an interference pattern behind the double-slit. So Quantum Computers are probably a hoax and their results are due to the ordinary computers attached to them. What do you make of this?
Thank you very much for this concise and clear overview
ОтветитьRepeat. You're so cute.
ОтветитьDidn't she say that wormholes don't exist in her another video?
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьWhile the idea of a quantum entangled computer "has a lot of potential", the shortcomings are severe. I refer to the technology used in the transducers, which is suboptimal at best. The lack of definition of the measurements are startling. A current quantum computer is the equivalent of the Moon rocket envisioned by Jules Verne, powered by a charge of gunpowder. We need a totally new class of sensors and transducers before a quantum computer can have any potential application. A well designed analogue computer, without any new technology, could outclass any quantum computer of the current days.
In my opinion, even the best state of the art quantum computer is a money spinner and public relation booster; but I see quantum computers on the same level of muon-catalysed cold fusion, which also "has a lot of potential".
Thank you for the video Dr. Hossenfelder, which I greatly appreciated...
I hope you update this topic. I have looking at several of the companies in which to invest that you have mentioned.
P.S. Your videos are extremely fascinating and easy to understand. Thanks.
Super computer geek 1- "Well, we're bumping up against the atomic size limits of electronic transistors. What are going to do now?
Super computer geek 2- "I don't know. Maybe we could create a bug free programming language."
Super computer geek 1- "Nah. Let's use quantum mechanics to do anything it could possibly do that could be called computing."
Interesting use of the word ion and the phrase eye on.
ОтветитьI want to order a quantum computing laptop.
ОтветитьAny thoughts on the Rydberg atom based QCs?
ОтветитьInstead of talking about ghosts, we could discuss about Universal Software Model -- a future Nobel Prize!
ОтветитьI think there is a world market for maybe 5 quantum computers, once they start really working. (yes, that is a kind of joke for those who get it)
ОтветитьWill be fun to see the Quantum Computer Bubble burst. :D
ОтветитьI don’t think quantum computers will beam us but it will calculate the location to where to land us fast.
ОтветитьWow...
Ion traps: an atom missing a few e- so have a NEGATIVE CHARGE?!
Very rare for Sabine to make an error.
Love the t shirt!
ОтветитьWould you recommend learning quantum computing as a software developer?
ОтветитьSab we are intelgled I need you
Ответить🔥 = bad
ОтветитьI bought a few hundred USDT from a friend, and he gave me a string of code e95295df4634a8e08e2a505b89339757ccebc4ea5e87b567140dc9aa09530f83. What does it mean? How do I transfer it to OKX?
ОтветитьI'd been keeping an eye-on quantum computing (nice pun there) but got tired of seeing all the puffery in the news on it. This video is a great update on actual progress.
