I don't know i think the power of Sanguine's rose in daggerfall was VERY powerful, i mean we're talking it raises you from the dead if you die.

Sanguine is the Elder Scrolls version of Baal, whose worship is based on indulgence.

I'm pretty sure Sanguine's alignment would be chaotic neutral.

I think he is just a guy who likes to have fun that also happens to be an extremely powerful daedra. Since his kind are bound to the physical world, it makes sense as to why worldly cravings are what he pursues, it's pretty much all he has when manifesting himself physically

I really like Martin Septim. He always came across as more than a prophesised hero to me. His daedric past and forbidden knowledge is such a good adition to his character.

Sanguine himself is like a drug. He seems alright enough but the more you mess around with him,the worse things become and before you know it you're too far gone.
