ОтветитьBjorn how are you? I have a suggestion to make. Instead of saying week and month, like june, july... You could say, for example; first week of second month of summer. This will be very helpful for people on the southern hemesfere. Since the periods are different. Love your work!! Thanks for making so helpful videos! Have a nice day.. Wil from Brazil!! 🇧🇷
ОтветитьWouldn’t 1/4 inch needles actually be more in proportion? If that was a huge tree the needles would look tiny when looking at it. Or are there “rules” for needle size on the size of tree? 👍🏻 keep up the great content!
ОтветитьHi Bjorn - Great vid - as usual! Would you use this technique on a mature Austrian Pine?
Ответитьexcellent breakdown. it'd be awesome to revisit this tree when it's time for bud selection.
ОтветитьThanks for making this video.
ОтветитьHi Bjorn, would you ever consider to make video about broadleaf evergreen bonsai? :)
ОтветитьVery informative..
We apply mekiri techniques only after we have developed the appropriate trunk girth, right???
Or, can be it used on pre bonsai materials, of say 4-5 years???
Thanks
Thank You 🙏✌️
ОтветитьFantastic! Thanks Bjorn.
ОтветитьVery good video and explanations about this technics 👍
Black pine's ability to densify is always impressive.
I have a Japanese Black Pine that needs to be re-potted in my coming growing season. Should I de-candle the tree in its current pot befroe re-potting, or de-candle the tree in its new pot ?
ОтветитьThanks so much for this very interesting video! You are a master in bonsai. Very compliments 👍👍
ОтветитьGood one Bjorn! Well cared for Pine!
ОтветитьBjorn, in one of your other videos, you stated that when cutting candles on highly refined trees, there are sometimes some candles a little stronger than others. You still cut candles all at the same time, but you leave a small stub on those stronger candles to slightly delay the second flush. On this particular tree, the candles were all uniform, but on another refined tree with slight variations in candle strength, does this technique still apply (leaving the stub on stronger candles)?
ОтветитьVery clear. Thanks for your videos.
Ответитьgood job bjorn, where's part one?
ОтветитьWow, such knowledge! How much patience do you have to have to care for bonsai or is there a bonsai doctor, I can go to?
