3006 days asking for Meren of Clan Nel Toth. That's right. Since this card was released I have been asking. Mald didn't know it. My conscious mind didn't know it. But I've been asking.

I have to say I brewed a Garth deck with every gimmick mechanic available in commander (stickers, initiative, monarch, day/night, city's blessing, ring bearer, attractions... You name it) and still sneaked in a deadeye navigator to just infinite black lotus into braingeyser. The man compelled me to do it he's just too powerful.

So tired of Wotc making garbage 5 color filter by relevant keyword commanders. Tired of every other brawl game on arena being against Golos and Eskia. 5c is MTG brainrot.

Garth is the commander of my Spellshaper tribal, as an honorary spellshaper. His main utility is that he hold 6 different responses at any time. I need a card I discarded back? Regrowth. I need more cards? The geyser. Mana starved? Lotus, baby. Problem creature? Terror. Problem non-creature? Disenchant. The man's a toolbox on legs, and plays well with others.

My friend has a deck featuring old border garth and only old border gold border cards. It is an awful deck; intentionally played unsleeved and riffle shuffled because he's a psychopath. After you play a game with him you can sign a card; ay card that is signed cant be removed from the deck later.

The fact he can indirectly make the mana you need to cast his other spells is crazy.

Oh hey it's my favourite combo deck who absolutely fucks. I run like 8 different infinite combos in the deck some easier to pull off than others and let me tell you. He really do only count to infinity. I also have back up planeswalker 1000 year elixir too. Thankssssss WotC.

My friend has built a garth planeswalker deck and seeing him copy the garth's effects with lithoform engine, rings of brighthearth and other copy effects is terrifying.

I thought it was fair and balanced (since you get only 1 Black Lotus) and I didn't see that it's what Yu-Gi-Oh calls "soft once per turn", if you manage to get it off the field and back again you can use the ability again...

My Garth deck way back when was the "Good ol' days" deck where I asked all my friends what their 2 favorite cards were and jammed them into the deck.

Surprisingly the deck was pretty busted.

My Garth deck is a silver-bordered Dice-rolling deck, in which Garth plays the role of extra interaction and recovery while I visit Attractions, roll dice, and dig for things that like me rolling dice in one of several potential combos of bizarre randomness. Also, having a random Lotus makes things like Attempted Murder much nicer.

Yeah, if you're not going infinite with him the only reason to have him is to have all color access. Admittedly, that's Archnemesis behavior on its own, but you are still competing with all sorts of chicanery in that slot.
