"Boundaries are where I still love you while loving myself"
ОтветитьI love how she sung “ I LIKE BIG BOUNDARIES AND I CANNOT LIE! ( Stir Mix -A-lot remix)
ОтветитьAlso plenty of men deal with these issues.
In Western society /The West , I've seen More relationships where The Woman is dominant
Plenty of male doormats and male over givers as well.
Thanks
Ответитьgreat interview ! I am almost finished with the book Boundary Boss and I have written in it, underlined in it, just devoured this in-depth description of how I have lived my life in the past, why I did that, why it is familiar, why it is scary to try to stand up to being taken advantage of, all the things. Thank you for this great interview and I think I'll go looking for your podcast now
ОтветитьWhere’s the line boundary and being rude?
ОтветитьI love this. 😍😍😍Thank you so very much. 🙏
ОтветитьI found you through Terri, new sub!!
ОтветитьOh! That's the first time I hear someone else say that they need to leave events. I get overstimulated as well and need to leave, but that happened on my friend's birthday once. We were in like middle school maybe, and after I left she stopped talking to me, her mom called me a terrible person🤦♀️ that might have made me be afraid of leaving events early, but now I'll stand my ground:)
ОтветитьThank you so much for everything, I'm 40 and realizing that this has been a huge issue for me and affected every single aspect of my life! I appreciate you putting this out there and offering such amazing advice on how to get healthy.
ОтветитьWow. Just wow. Thank you 🙏
ОтветитьBrilliant ! It is always ‘refreshing’ to hear a communication like this 🙏❤️🙏
ОтветитьWhen you are in your joy and peace, there’s no need to create boundaries- everyone sees you in your truth and they don’t dare make you step aside for them.
ОтветитьEveryone wanting to be whole should quit alcohol. It’s poison.
ОтветитьSo useful, I am learning so much! You both are very beautiful souls, I am very appreciative you came into my world ❣
ОтветитьIt was incredible. I am buying the book thank you so much!
Ответить😊never had this problem I never do anything that doesn't please me😊. I always see and listen to my deep needs and desires when I find my pleasure in doing something for someone I do it and only then I do it❤🎉😊
ОтветитьI am so much like you , & i knew it was controlling and people pleasing towards my mom and elders and ridiculous.
ОтветитьThis is very good.
Ответитьbetty’s gotta go lol 😂😂😂
loved the podcast; the way you ladies presented this message was beautiful; thank you 💕
💜🌸🥰
ОтветитьI never realised I RSVP most people a No to their invitation to fight. Hahahaha!!! Terri you killed it.
ОтветитьThank you for being one of the few channels to disclose language ahead of time. ♥️ As a rideshare driver who plays these during the day it means a lot!
ОтветитьThis content is astoundingly good. A book with akin material completely reshaped my views. "The Art of Saying No: Mastering Boundaries for a Fulfilling Life" by Samuel Dawn
ОтветитьI get to the point of wanting to punch people in the face lol that's why I'm trying to learn how to set boundaries from the beginning
ОтветитьPure gold, thanks 😊
ОтветитьThank you both so much for this talk. My biggest take aways 1) the difference between compliance and compatibility and 2) not my circus or monkeys to fix❣️
Just subscribed to your channel and going to buy BB book now!!!!!💗
First video I've ever seen with "adult language" warning for kids around. Thank you
Ответить❤❤❤❤ amazing stuff
ОтветитьSo inspiring 🙌
ОтветитьTerri, i relate to what you said about if your person isn't there to meet you at the train station on time you feel like crying. Yes, when that type of thing happens to me it triggers feelings of abandonment. I immediately think the person forgot to meet me, etc. Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьIt drives me mad when people visit me and just wrap up in their phone...
ОтветитьI had to steo bwck from my daughter... I am still holding bqck evwn though its creasing me
ОтветитьThis is so good thank you so much ❤
ОтветитьGreat conversation. Definitely need to listen to this video for a second time maybe even a third time.
ОтветитьThe best thing I've learned is to say what you want without waiting the person to tell you what you need to feel .
Thank you very much ❤❤
I got a lot out of this episode. Thanks
ОтветитьI like the "not my circus, not my monkeys" And the fact that, i don't have to participate in every argument. I just have to state my preference and my opinion. Yes.
ОтветитьI learnt this time to stablish my boundaries in a Loving way and finding my own style . Thank You for this Video.
ОтветитьWhat a great subject. Thank you for adding values to my life. 💝
ОтветитьI love her voice
ОтветитьHi I loved this I will equal bounerdies and being truthful as the same and the right to have preferences in my hermitage especially women don’t have options just obey so it’s confusing thank you for helping me see boundaries as self preserving too and not be at the end Bitter
ОтветитьAbusive parents make their kids always obey them. The kids will grow up with poor boundary. It takes a lot of suffering for these people realize what the root of the problem. And it takes a lot of effort to break the pattern.
ОтветитьLoved this episode, thank you! I am definitely getting Terri’s book. 🫶🏻
ОтветитьSpeaking authentically!!!! Yes!
ОтветитьGood interview but the hosts laughing was a bit fake when much of what Terri was saying was just sensible not hilarious.
ОтветитьThat example of leaving a party! That’s me. I went to take my own car. I feel so validated after watching this!
