When i sleep i have trouble exhalation,eczact moment of sleep stomach pushes air out whith a jolt causing sleep disturbance,blood oxygen is between 95 and 100,lung exray normal,drs are baffled so am i 😮

I was diagnosed with tumor in left lung in 2013. In the first two biopsy reports a negative result came for malignancy. Thereafter in an advanced biopsy report positive result came. Since then I have undergone 6 chemotherapy and 36 radiation sittings which resulted in decrease in size of tumor. The lungs are the primary organs of the respiratory system in humans and many other animals, including a few fish and some snails.

In humans, the main muscle of respiration that drives breathing is the diaphragm.

The lungs also provide airflow that makes vocal sounds (including human speech) possible.
