I don't think humans as batteries in the matrix was supposed to be taken literally. The way I saw it was that the machines were feeding off our uniquely human emotional energy, the part that distinguishes us from them. Call it our soul energy or our creative energy, our level of consciousness beyond just being a programmed machine. Call it what you like, but not just our biological energy.

If they just wanted the energy generated by a living body, then the matrix wouldn't have been necessary, just some pods, food and nutrients. It was the simulated reality, created and maintained by the machines which stimulated the specific kind of energy in the humans which the machines needed.

I guess that wasn't made clear in the movie, or maybe I'm wrong, and the humans were just biological batteries, but that's not the way I saw it.

I'm mostly on your side, but when you say that the provaxxers swore that you wouldn't get the virus if you got the jab, that's false.

I am, however, not quite sure about your decision to focus on big pharma's purely financial intersts in the pandemic. 10 years ago, you would have had even the leftties agree on that.Rather, I would have loved to hear your views on how big pharma have joined forces with China to instill fear amongst the populations so that also western politicians thought it would be wise to install all these stupid mandates and rules. From a purely financial point of view, why did non-pharmaceutical businesses - which are - in sum - more financially potent - go along with these measures that surely hurt their profits?

Bret, I am disappointed in your cognitive dissonance to what Roos and Small said. I am flabbergasted that years in, people still do not listen to what Small literally said.

She did not say they did not know if it stops TRANSMISSION, but she used the word IMMUNIZATION. "stopping immunization" is the exact opposite of "stopping transmission"! Even you are replacing the words, as if they are synonims, but they are not.
1. Transmission: virus goes from person A to person B.
2. Stopping transmission: virus does NOT go from person A to person B. Which means the shot should have prevented either person A from shedding or person B from being able to become infected.
3. Immunization: the act of an intervention, through a shot, to make sure that the virus does NOT go from person A to person B, in other words immunity is created in person B, since being immune means having a "shield" to fend off viruses against infection.
4. Stopping immunization: a nonsensic term, since stopping the ACT of receiving a shot makes zero sense in this context, unless specifically meant the act of changing the human defense system so immunity is switched off, basically making people MORE vulnerable to viruses. Which is the exact opposite of the intent of a shot.

I do not trust Pfizer for a second that they would not play every single trick in the book to lie, cheat and obfuscate. They have the biggest budget in the world for the best lawyers, not a single word is misused or "misunderstood". They knew quite well that by not answering Roos' question directly (who was asking about stopping TRANSMISSION), but by using the words STOPPING IMMUNIZATION instead, which she was READING from her script tha he lawyers prepared, they have covered their *ss. And the millions of naive people seeing this simply substitute the two words, as if it's the same because "oh, of course she meant that!". No she did not.
I am disappointed that not a single person of importance that I follow has ever highlighted this huge issue with the interpretation. The devil is in the details, in this case it is not even a detail but a bloating distortion.
If she meant to use the same words and was simply "confused", Roos should have immediately had to ask her feedback whether he understood correctly. He did not, now we're stuck with a legal out-of-jail card, should it ever come to serious lawsuits.

One more "fun fact": Karikó and Weiss did not receive the Nobel prize for their work in the development process that resulted in creating immunity, severity or whatnot. They were working on the WEAPONIZATION of viruses and how the human defense system can be BYPASSED. Supposedly, this is how they came upon the mechanism to PREVENT our biology from such a bypassing. But the original intent was very much to enable to create a virus that is dangerous. Whether to find the "cure" was among the goals is another question.
In that sense, Small ironically did not lie: what she literally answered was that they had not known before market release whether they had found the means to bypass the human defense system. If we stick to the semantics, that is literally what she said.
I am not the one saying their intent was to make people sicker. She is.

Never got a flu jab for all those reasons. Having seen the patients in the Italian hospital gasping for breath and all the pressures to save the NHS here in uk, against my better judgement I got 2 AZ jabs. I’m surprised that you both failed to mention the Comirnaty bait-and-switch when discussing the disingenuous—fraudulent actually—behavior of the Big Pharma/government conspiracy. For the benefit of your viewers, here is the cliff notes version:
1) Beginning May 2021, it became obvious that the number of voluntary mRNA recipients had peaked and everyone else was holding back to “wait and see.”
2) The Swamp responded by turning up the fear volume of the Delta variant.
3) Employers were reporting that workers were unwilling to take the Bio-N-Tech or the Moderna because they were technically experimental, which is why they were afforded liability protection.
4) Pfizer created what amounted to a chemically identical version of their Bio-N-Tech “vaccine” but marketed it under a separate label called Comirnaty.
5) Comirnaty was pushed through a corrupt FDA for full approval. Pfizer did this knowing that the imprimatur of FDA approval would remove the experimental status of Comirnaty and thus remove the impediment to widespread acceptance of their product.
6) However, Pfizer also knew that the price that they’d pay for full FDA approval would be loss of immunity from liability since such immunity only applies to experimental drugs (along with other qualifications). Therefore, they never actually offered Comirnaty in the U.S. So the unsuspecting American would walk into their corner Rite Aid and ask for the FDA-approved mRNA shot, but the Comirnaty bait was switched with the experimental Bio-N-Tech, thus protecting Pfizer from liability.
7) Dim-witted HR department Directors all over America bought the con and used the deceitful FDA approval to coerce their employees to get the jab since the employees could no longer justify a refusal of an experimental drug.
