Snippets From the Bush: Are Baobab Trees Regenerating?

The growing demand for Baobab fruit creates incentives for the sustainable management of these magnificent trees. But what about the next generation of Baobabs? Are there young trees coming through and does value addition actually lead to the planting out of more Baobab trees? To find out, Gus (the African Plant Hunter) joined a team of field ecologists in north-western Zimbabwe on a Baobab resource assessment exercise.
